SOLD *Reduced* Sig Cross 6.5 Creedmoor $1300.00

LNIB Sig Cross for sale.
I purchased this rifle about 2 months ago and fired 62 rounds down the pipe.
I bought it to try hunting some deer, and never ended up going.
This rifle shoots and packs well, most commercial rounds that I tried were right about 3/4" - 1"
This rifle printed best with 147 ELDMs, I would guess that this rifle could do much better with some fine tuned hand loads.

Sale comes with everything from the factory(including box) and 1 additional 10 round PMAG.

$1300.00+shipping
Optics, magpul grip, mount, sling and mount, suppressor, bipod and monopod not included.

Partial trades:
10mm ammo. 147gr ELDMs loaded ammo. 147gr ELDMs for reloading

Why do [some] people have kids?

So I know some folks, a few don’t even like dogs, because they are messy and a responsibility, yet later had a kid.

I mean no nurturing spirit, can’t even manage to fit their life around a dog who can basically care for itself with you gone as early as late puppy hood

Is it because it’s what you’re sposed to do, like getting a degree in uhh anything

Or a religious marketing thing?

I totally get some folks, they make sense as parents, but the ones who all of a sudden DECIDED to have a kid after not wanting to even want to be responsible for a pet?

I get the natural parent types, I get the stupid ones who can’t manage to fuck without having a litter, but the calculated people who all of a sudden decide to have one 🤷‍♂️

A Useful Idiot, Tuesday Edition

I've made some money stumbling thru this guys schtick. (Useful)

But mostly, he is a whinging bitch from NJ, who love's him some Philly football and Corporate dicks. (Idiot)

I missed the segment in question as I cannot stand his whinging bitch voice for some time now-but damn....

It does feel like they feel they need to out themselves for what they are doesn't it?!

Welcome to the real world Jim Cramer. Long may you run... in your pink shirt and mauve tie. Ha.

Snowblowers

I’m thinking about getting my dad a snowblower for Christmas. He lives in the southern part of PA averages about 30” of snow per year. He’s got a decent sized driveway and a lot of sidewalk.

Anybody have any recommendations? Looking for a 2 stage true self propelled unit 26-30” wide. Want to stay at or about $1000-$1200 bucks. Any brands to stay away from?

Runner up to 2015 SHC build. One of a kind.

Tiger Mertyl and ARC. Tough combo to beat. (Buttplate assy and rings are still in the oven)

Enjoy.

Have to Pay to Post Sell Items?

Was just thinking about selling a gun. Went and took a few photos and was looking to post them to the firearm section; no go? When did this change; mind you don't sell a lot of guns but do like checking out what's around. No way around this for old members been around since 2014. So everyone pays $20 a month to sell things?

9mm powder for defensive rounds

Looking to whittle up a defensive 9mm load, home protection for a handgun. I'll be using Hornady XTP 124 grain bullets, mixed brass, CCI small pistol primers. The handgun in question is a Beretta LTT Elite, 5.2 something inch threaded barrel that'll eventually have a silencer hanging on the end. So nothing compact.

I'd like to create a defensive round but would prefer a "normal" load, not +P or ++P. I'd be willing to stray a bit into the +P range although admittedly, I don't know what pressure +P starts at these days. I've looked at all the offerings on Hodgdon's sight and I'm just not sure where to begin. Looking at the numbers, Winchester 572 seems to be great but doing a bit of reading, they seem to tighten up on the hot end which may be in the +P or greater range and put more wear/tear on the gun and have more recoil.

Criteria
-Ball/Spherical, aka meters well
-Relatively clean burning
-Relatively quiet without a huge fireball
-Smoother recoil for faster follow-up shots.
-Not temp sensitive. We have a pretty wide swing in temps although anything below freezing is rare/short lived. Very hot summers.
-Somewhat forgiving since this'll be the first time loading pistol cartridges. I currently load .223, .308 and 300 blackout supers/subs in a number of bullet weights for each.

I'll develop a plinking load and subsonic load after I have this one nailed down although I do intend to practice with my defensive load from time to time. Thoughts? Anything I'm no considering? I have pretty good access to powder locally so I'd likely have my choice of more than a few different powders.

Release triggers- why not?

I'm probably going to regret asking- likely there's some obvious reason this is a bad idea, but given that it's escaping me here goes...

Why not, on a target rifle? Everything I've read (shotgunning is rare for me) points to the release trigger being an interesting idea for this- fewer muscles involved, less possibility of jerking the trigger sideways as with the pull trigger. Obviously not well suited for certain types of competition or hunting rifles, but I can't see why this wouldn't work well in other applications.

For those of you that use them shotgunning, what am I missing?

Hannity

Just caught the Hannity show while flipping through the channels. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is up with his makeup? Can’t stand the guy and his makeup makes him look like an even bigger D bag! I’m a big Trump guy and let him slide on the gratuitous make up, but fuck Hannity and his orange face!
