I recently decided to buy a Tikka CTR in 6.5 CM and start shooting long range. I was a sniper in the past and equipment have greatly evolved over time.

The idea of this is to be a new thread dedicated to those who want to learn more or share tips/tricks for loading precision rifle on a Dillion XL750.

I have 2 XL750s along with a bunch of accessories and upgrades on the way. I will document how both machines will be setup, issues that need to be addressed, recommended upgrades and anything else that needs to be mentioned. One machine will be setup with a powder through die so a high end trickler can be used for powder charging and the other will use the dillion powder throw.

The goal is to share information so we can automate as much as the reloading process as possible, reducing reloading time.

I’m looking for people’s thoughts and opinions on the W3, I’m looking for something to add modularity to my current comp rifles in regards to weight and additional adjustability compared to my current PRS1’s from manner.

I’m sure some will suggest stepping up to the C4 from them, but unfortunately buying two of them would be a bit painful at 2K a piece when the W3 is right around 1k depending on options.

I put this rifle together and shot it once. The parts each have like 30-40 rounds on them. Great shape!

There are sooooo many scope options I’m confusing myself reading all the reviews, pros/cons etc…what do you pros recommend?

Altus is building my rifle. It will be a 26 inch bartlein barrel, AI chassis, 300 Norma mag. This rifle will be used for just target shooting at 1000-2000 yards. I’d like to spend around $2000 or so.
