quick report on vudu gen 2

i picked up a used vudoo from a gent back in tennessee i think, about 9 months ago. bartlein barrel, nice stock. area419 made it and I think they know their shit. it is flat out amazing! i took it to lapua testing tunnel in mesa, az and they found a good batch so I got 10k rds,, should last forever. weighs about 100 lbs. put an old 5-25 atacr on it. I wanted to put one of my 2 ZCO's on it but i only had 2 mounts for ZCO and neither would really work. anyways, I give vudu a thumbs up from normal blue collar average joe shooter!

Trying to develop a safe load for my .308, need help

My .308 gas gun has a relatively short barrel and I’m trying to get some velocity back by mimicking MK319 mod 0. Issue is I’m looking at N133 and IMR 3031, N133 has a max load with my bullet of 39gr while IMR is at 44. Other forums people are loading it was 44gr of N133 with no signs of over pressure. Just trying to make sure I don’t blow my gun up.

Do bore specific cans make any actual difference in sound reduction?

Getting close to purchasing a dedicated can for a new build, this one will be for a lighter weight crossover rifle for general use, shooting 500 and in, and hunting. Primary goal is for max suppression, secondary goal is light weight. Parts: TL3, HNT26, Bartlein 6.5x47 and 223 barrels, all parts in hand or on order through SPR.

I have four centerfire cans, all 30 caliber (2 TBAC, 2 KGM), but am wondering if getting a 6.5 can would make an appreciable difference in suppressing the x47 and the 223.

Looking at the OCL Hydrogen L in 6.5 or possibly the DD Enticer L-Ti with removable end caps, vs the Magnus. I do like the weight, size, and cost savings of the first two. I have no experience with removable end caps or smaller bore cans.

If bore diameter doesn’t make much difference in practical sound suppression, then I will just stick with another 30 caliber can, but will go to a 6.5 bore if there’s a noticeable difference, especially with the 223.

Chauvin stabbed.

I figure there’d be a thread here wjth all the blue line deep throaters here

But anyway. Yalls hero got stabbed in prison.

This Gem was also revealed
“”
Additionally, according to the plea agreement, Chauvin admitted that on Sept. 4, 2017, he willfully violated the then-14-year-old child’s constitutional right to be free from an officer’s use of unreasonable force. Specifically, Chauvin admitted that he held the child by the throat and struck the child multiple times in the head with a flashlight, resulting in the child’s bodily injury. In the plea agreement, Chauvin also admitted that he held his knee on the child’s neck, shoulders and upper back for between 15 and 16 minutes, even though the child was face-down on the floor, handcuffed and not resisting. Chauvin admitted that these actions resulted in the child’s bodily injury."

What a great cop. Did nothing wrong. Fine upstanding officer

SK Long Range match

I saw where the most popular ammo at the World PRS championship was SK LR match. I had not seen it to buy until last week.
Got a brick just to see how it performs from Nedved and it arrived today along with my Garmin Xero chronograp. Shout out to them for fast shipping!!
Anyhow my Vudoo seems to like this stuff pretty well. I shot 30 rounds 5 at 50 just to check zero then 15 shot group at 115 yards (we don’t have a 100yd) and then 10 at 200yds. Wind was light 2/3mph at 3:00 so at 200 slight horizontal.
My 15 shot group at 115 I actually measured and it was exactly 1 inch center to center which gave me .83 MOA.
Here is my chronograph data. I have been using Center X but this seems to shoot just as well. Is this consistent enough for PRS type shooting? Thoughts?

Rifle Scopes Newbie needs help learning scope use

Hey all, I've been shooting for a few years, but never learned to use a scope. Now that I'm trying to, it's a struggle. With a decent rifle and scope, my groups are in the 4"-6" range at 100 yards, and it's all trigger-monkey error.

I have an adjustastable cheek rest, and wear corrective lenses in my glasses. A lot of my shooting is with a sling, so body angle can be a thing, but I'm also trying to learn bipod/bag. The struggle is that when I look through the scope and eliminate shadow, I'm looking through the upper inner portion of my eye, not the center. My glasses get in the way, if I try to push them down to shoot over them, the cheekrest pushes them back up. If they are up, the upper inner bridge of the glasses blocks part of the scope.

I don't mind not wearing glasses, but some ranges object. However, I'd really like some wisdom on resolving this so I can wear my glasses, if at all possible.

How can I fix this issue?
