What's new?

Not so new is another boot licker joins the list aka Liberty Safe, another brand new glowie in the hide, ..... it doesn't end but, good to have fun with it.

Not new to me but new news of it. I'm no stranger to CBDC and I consider myself fairly informed on it and other topics. I'm aware of what's called the the fed DC too. What I wasn't aware of.... at work today, guy says what's this crap as he's viewing his phone. He himself is what I call red pilled. Half awake.
Being black pilled I'm considered a conspiracy theorist, because I think critically. Anyways, he was asking about the fed's DC and something happening on the 20th ..... of Sept. Has anyone here heard anything? I've been pretty busy with life's BS and haven't had the time to stay fully alert. Being 14 days away, I'm concerned. I've also noticed the new conVID push again over the last week. DC and VID go hand in hand.

PS.....this is not glow bait.

Gloves: alternative to PIG gloves?

ive been using PIG gloves for shooting/hunting/general thin gloves that are easier to handle things than the yellow rawhide construction gloves.

i really like the PIG gloves but i seem to be good with them for a couple of months of regular use and then the seems on the fingers blow out and they are worthless. Im not an operator or high speed guy but id like some dexterous gloves that are better quality than the PIG gloves. also, they have gotten more expensive like eveyrthing else.

are mechanix gloves the way to go? i dont really need the knuckle protection of the high speed oakley gloves but ill take all suggestions.

What’s Up With the Punctuation ? Anyone Else Notice ?

Why are ALL these posts suddenly showing up with the punctuation spaced after the word? It isn’t happening to everyone, just some accounts. It’s not like a fat finger typo or something, because it’s that way top to bottom.

Here is an example of what I’ve noticed : the punctuation is offset by a space . I’ve seen my talk to text do this when driving , sometimes it corrects , sometimes not , but I have never seen talk to text do it here . Is that what it is ? Are guys all suddenly using talk to text ? Is there a glitch or an update quirk with some TTT programs ? Is it AI ? What say you , because it’s everywhere now ?

Firearms Sold

Up for your consideration is my rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. I purchased all the parts of this rifle new a year and a half ago. It has seen little use, basically 2 hunting seasons. I have shot a combination of factory Hornady ammo and handloaded 140 Berger elite hunter at 3050 fps. The current round count is at 169. Then rifle weighs 8.5 lbs. as pictured with an empty 3rd magazine. The muzzle brake and tripod are not included.

I am asking $3900 shipped for the rifle and all the ammo, brass, and dies in the picture. I accept PayPal, Venmo, or certified checks.

I will consider parting out the rifle, but the barrel has to sell first.

Trades considered are high end "factory" built AR10s like JP Seekins KAC

Here are the specs

Impact Precision 737R action
Proof Research Carbon Fiber pre fit chambered in house in 6.5 PRC - cut at 24" with 5/8x24 muzzle threads
Manners LRH stock with mini chassis with a added pic rail on forearm
Hawkins M5 hunter bottom metal
TriggerTech 2 stage trigger
3 & 7 round Accurate mags
77 rounds of factory ammo
54 rounds of handloaded ammo 140 Berger elite hunter over h1000
165 pcs of once fired Hornady brass
Hornady Match grade bushing dies "bushing included"

PSA M110 clonish rifle

Mac at the Military Arms Channel reviews the PSA M110

For those of you who do not want to watch the video, Palmetto State Armory is selling an M110 clonish rifle in either .308 or 6.5 CM. He reviews the 6.5 CM. He tried multiples of ammo and all of them shot sub moa. The best group was .23 moa. That bottom left group in the picture is awesome and made me laugh.
PSA M110.jpg
The rifle sort of looks like the M110. The rail resembles the KAC rail. PSA went with a more practical muzzle device so no can that chokes all the way down to the gas block. Speaking of the gas block, it is adjustable from the factory so you can tune it to your ammo and suppressor of choice. Looks like it is around $1,400 on the PSA web site.

SOLD Rare AICS 2.0 Thumbhole Folder Savage 10 6.5CM

So have something that does not come up often: Savage 10 in 6.5CM (24in Barrel) with AICS 2.0 Thumbhole folder chassis (4.4in bolt hole spacing)
Will come with NF 20 MOA Rail mounted.

I'm the second owner and was told that rifle has less than 400 rounds fired through it, I have fired about another 50. The rifle groups beautifully at about .75 MOA with factory Hornady 140 ELDM.

I'll sell the rifle for $1750 + shipping or only the chassis for $1500 + shipping (Will take SPUHR 4602, 4616, 4622 as partial trades)

New Proposed ATF Powder Reporting Rule

Has anybody seen this yet? It seems like the ATF is now eyeing reloaders storing powder and primers.

Summary

The Department of Justice is proposing to amend Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (“ATF”) regulations to require that any person who stores explosive materials notify on an annual basis the authority having jurisdiction for fire safety in the locality in which the explosive materials are being stored of the type of explosives, magazine capacity, and location of each site where such materials are stored. In addition, the proposed rule requires any person who stores explosive materials to notify the authority having jurisdiction for fire safety in the locality in which the explosive materials were stored whenever storage is discontinued. These changes are intended to increase public safety.

Editing to add: after some further discussion it sounds like this rule is an amendment to an existing rule that would not impact the general public. The ATF provided summary is misleading

Austin PD: Don’t call 911 if your robbed

The Austin PD has pretty much thrown in the towel, they now advise if your robbed on the street to just call the non emergency number and file a report. Considering the major crime resolution percentage is astoundingly low I’m guessing the solved rates on robberies and burglaries is probably close to nothing. This will eventually get people killed, as at least a few muggers can probably read and the Austin PD just called open season on pretty much anyone in the street.

Optics Nightforce NXS scopes

Up for grabs are two Nightforce NXS [new old stock] optics with no boxes.

1) 3.5-15x50mm
Adjustments: MOA
Reticle: R116 MV 5
Comes with Butler Creek flip covers
$1300 Shipped

2)2.5-10x32mm
Adjustments: MOA
Reticle: R146
Comes with factory covers and rings from an unknown manufacturer.
SPF

Both optics were mounted on rifles as a display and then put in storage, so they should be thought of as demos. Neither has been to a range or in the field.

The only trades I'd be interested in would be Mil based equivalent optics.
