Any mountain bikers out there 2.0

I'm finally getting in summer shape again, meaning I did 17 miles with 2 other old guys today on EMTB's on blue difficulty trails. Ha sounds silly compared to Jbell.

One of these guys is 79 years old, was a triathlete, and it's amazing how well he does.

But this week a friend my age, 65-ish, is visiting from out of town. We fished, shot airguns, and rode, so it was a fun week.

Incorrect, I speculated that Kampfeld is who JA uses, but I had no proof, so came here and asked if people had any experience with them or any others, etc.

You know, the point of a forum.... which you guys attempted to lecture me about earlier.
Incorrect. We attempted to point out that you were unnecessarily being a dick. But apparently you don’t learn.

Well, apparently you want to argue more than I do. So enjoy your non answers.

🚨 NFA language BACK IN!!! (Post #121) HPA/Short Act Update 7/1 ☎️ these 💩 and yell at them more

No tax on SBRs and Suppressors is still in it.

Not saying we didn’t get fucked, but maybe they used Vaseline.

Any time a primer exits a case without a decapping die, that is a bad sign for pressure. You know this, but continued shooting.

The only acceptable way to deal with this is stop shooting and pull down the rounds to reduce the charge. This is done with a bullet puller. Or get replacement ammo from Freedom.

I didn't know that SSA made the brass for Freedom Munitions. I guess it is possible but that would be the first factory ammo I have seen loaded with that.

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

I think it passed the house. Sure seems to still be in the bill, but the legal language is a little opaque to me.

Go here to see the whole bill, and then do a browser page search for the term “$200” and add a space after the $200 otherwise it’ll find a bunch of $200,000 terms.
That is essentially the same language that was in there before. Meaning, you still have to register, but $0 tax.

And I will shoot it in the bolts guns (checking each ejected casing), if there’s no traction achieved with Freedom
Why would you do this?

Bad move.
Would not recommend.

Two thumbs down.

Ammunition that is known to be out of spec. >
Shooting it anyway. >>
Trashing your breech faces, firing pins and possibly triggers. >>
Just asking for a complete case rupture that will put your ass in the hospital / blind you/ kill you / injure someone close to your firing position. > >

When you sign back onto this forum in a few months to complain about your damaged rifles and missing fingers, . . . . . you better come up with a different screen name because even the dumbass heathens (of which I am proudly one of) in this forum have your personality figured out.

Still sticking with your dumbass logic, eh?

50 bucks doesn't affect my life, much easier to find a smith than the other options (noted in my post above so 85 IQ individuals can understand)... but hey... if this concept is too complicated for you, I get it.
Since you already have at least 2-3 knowledge smiths to spend your money with, why are you still here? You just like the attention, don’t you? Admit it.

20" barrel 6 Dasher/BRA/BR?

EH... A lot of stuff can be fun to use for matches, but a 20 inch "anything" wouldn't be on my short list. Balance would be my biggest concern for a competition rifle. A lot of us are shooting 26-28" tubes with 6-8" cans and not having issues with maneuverability - and there remains good reason why so many of us are NOT shooting 20" tubes and ARE shooting 26-28".
As someone who plays around with a 28" 6BR, I want all the velocity I can get. Beyond 800 yards, it lacks the energy compared to my 6x47L with a 26" barrel.
