Traumatizing Sob Stories

Wah, Wah, boo hoo!

As already mentioned, every other country except the U.S. has operated this way for years. Try going into Mexico to do any work while claiming to be a tourist. Or Canada for that matter.

He didn’t take the time to get a work visa, so he was rightly denied entry.

ETA:
I’ll bet he gets the appropriate visa next time.

I love the sob story of, “well, in addition to performing for pay (work), he’s also going to do some free concerts. So that makes it okay.”

Suppressors 300 blackout sub/super ar suppressor

Another vote for socom 300sps. Quiet and not bad gas wise. Works well with most all ammo I've used.
Honestly, the 300 SPS has sounded/performed fantastic on everything I've tried it on. From 300 blk subs/supers, 16" & 20" 5.56, 300 PRC. It's probably my favorite do everything suppressor.

I have many others, including others from Surefire. It just works.

Mlok is great on carbines with skinny barrels and light weight handguards. It's not so great on precision rifles since the hardware protrudes into the barrel channel. The AI keyslot is technically better for precision rifles which use heavy barrels and have thick walled handguards. But it has downsides of lack of accessories and in looks.

I put the mlok rail on my AXSR just for looks. While doing so I know I'll never use the mlok because it's worthless since the hardware interferes in the barrel channel means I couldn't remove or change the barrel.

We have house in the Upper Canyon that survived last years fire but the flood caused some damage. We were just going to start on the renovation but now this hit. Highest crest recorded and not sure whether well have a house or not.
Cousin in Ruidoso went the house this morning and reported a total loss. Water when as high as the kitchen countertop and structural structural damage. Hope to salvage some of the furniture I made for it and going to be a tear down with no plans to rebuild.

Any mountain bikers out there 2.0

I ride there time to time with my wife. The stuff in Bella Vista is pretty good, the last time we were there we did the Tunnel Vision & Back 40 loop. It's pretty sweet to have a 50 ish mile single track loop with minimal repeat. There are some fun trails out there. I like Hobbs as well but damn I'm destroying tires every trip. I am a weight weenie and cringe at tires that are over 700g. What tires are you having good luck with out there?

I am currently on a pair of Continental Dubnatols but I haven't been out there with them yet.

Have you ridden out in Jasper? I enjoy the Upper Buffalo Headwaters trail system and Rope Swing has put a lot of money into the trails at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. They are pretty good.
I haven’t been to Jasper but have done all the Bella Vista trails at some point.

I have pretty much stopped XC riding in the past couple of years since my wife stopped riding. I spend a lot of time at the jump lines and flow trails now so I’m on tougher casing tires like the Maxxis DHR2.

Also about 2 years ago I swapped to an ebike which is terrific for this area and sessioning all the downhill lines.
