High strength ready mix should do just fine, dont get it too wet, like a moderate porridge. I never hurts to roughen up the existing slab and or use a bonding agent, but with the rebar inserts and weight of a 30"x40" slab its not going anywhere. If you just have to, use a grinder and cut 1/2" grooves but not too close to the edges. Tap the edges of your form so te mud will settle and not leave voids on the edges.

Let it cure for at least a week as it takes 30 days to dry about 80%. IIRC Be sure to have a steel or magnesium trowel for finishing the surface.

Doc - I had a similar experience and didn't think to take a photo with my 300 PRC. I shot 20 shots at the same POA with my 300 PRC barrel breaking it in and testing charge weights and powders. 10 different charges of H100 and 10 of N168. All in a 2 inch group. I was astounded.

Yeah, if you want a general purpose .22 that you are just going to buy and shoot, go with either the T1X or the CZ. If you are going to modify it to fit some role, the CZ is kinda like the 10/22 of the rimfire bolt gun world.

Mine has a Lilja on it. Although I wasn't impressed with the machine work and was much less impressed with the customer support, I have to admit it's a hammer. Since I intended to shoot SK out if it, I set the headspace to .039, pillar bedded the action and torqued to 35 in-lbs. I've shot it against vudoo and RimX rigs and from an accuracy perspective, it holds its own. When it came to positional shooting, I'm at a disadvantage because mine isn't setup for that.

I agree. Although I am a fan of the Venom LPVO for what it is, a decent low priced optic; I don't mess with anything under the PST line.

Although the 1-10 Razor can be used as a mid range optic, I wouldn't call it a mid range optic. There are scopes that would perform much better than the Razor in that role for a fraction of the cost. A Leupold Mark 4HD, at less than half the price, would perform better at everything, except having a 1x. Although a bit longer than the Razor, it weighs about the same.

Of course, if you NEED a 1x or some other attribute that the LPVO offers, like size and/or weight, then there are alternatives. The Credo 1-8 is a killer scope, although heavy. The Eotech 1-10 is very nice too. I understand that the 1-10 Credo is lighter and nice also, but I’ve never run one.

Honestly, I'm not crazy about the 1-10 Razor. The 1x is truly useless without the illumination. If I was going to spend that kind of money, I'd be looking at the ATACR.
