Kelby's Prometheus Action

Here is the second video I shot on my trip to Kelbly’s last month. In it Ian and I talk about the different Kelbly’s action models. We discuss some of the specific design decisions that go into making an action and the reasoning behind those. We also talk about the changes the design of Kelbly’s actions that have taken place over time, the reasons for those changes, and the way in which backwards compatibility was maintained despite the changes.

U.S. Engineers Find ‘Rogue Communication Devices’ in Chinese Solar Panels

OT (Operational Technology) is a part of the cybersecurity world that is seriously under resourced and has the capacity to really fuck things up because a whole lot of it is present on the shop floor or where things actually interact with the physical world. It's also a nightmare because so much of the hardware can't really be patched when you find something wrong. This is only going to get worse as the relentless drive to connect "everything" to the internet in the search for efficiency continues.

6.5 Creedmoor

Just got a new 26” CRB barrel spun. Switching over from a mild 2650 fps load with Hornady LRP, CCI 200, Staball 6.5 and 140 eld-m in my factory bergara.

To Lapua SRP, CCI 450, h4350 and 140eld-m, hoping to find something in the 2750-2800 range.

Planning to find where my barrel hits pressure with the new combo and drop down .5gr to 1gr but have never run H4350. Planning to load up from 39gr to 43gr in .3 or .4 gr increments.

Is 43.0gr enough to find pressure in most barrels or should I load up to 44.0? More?
I started with 41.5 and 140gr Hornady BTHPs and it shot very well. Good place to start IMO, 2700 out of a Tikka barrel, known to be a little slow.

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

If they were as pro 2A as they said there would be no compromise.

However, I'm sure they have been given guidance from the current administration that the best deal is one which neither side is 100% satisfied with the outcome (there is compromise).

In my opinion the biggest oversight in this is that they only applied this language to Form 4s
No free form 1s?
