Rifle Scopes Zeiss LRP S5 turret question

I just got a Zeiss LRP S5 and I have a question about the turrets.

The elevation turret on mine doesn't feel nearly as good as the windage turret. The windage turret is very tactile and audible, you can feel each click thunk into place.

My elevation turret is barely audible and the clicks aren't nearly as positive as the windage.

What do your S5 turrets feel like?

Plane crash At Reagan National

^^^
To continue that post, he was asked to make a conclusion before the investigation had even started. He obliged, and they countered with feigned outrage (ie they set him up), "How can you conclude that without an investigation?!" Then he answered, "Because I have common sense." He went on to say something to the effect of, "There will be an investigation, and it will probably conclude what I just said."

Yep.

Rifle Scopes Lightest midrange hunting scopes

Leupold VX6HD is an awesome scope

Had the 3-15, upgraded to the 3-18x50. Weight 20 oz

Here’s the one shot we took to confirm “zero” after flying into Frank Church for a bear hunt last week. At 1049 yards. Off a tripod. Aim point: center of pile of white rocks. Used Sig kilo 8k w AB and dialed 24 MOA as directed. BANG!

Small varmint kills (the bastards!)

Since I was too sugared up to sleep from eating two pieces of blue velvet birthday cake and a big bowl of watermelon chunks I decided to burn off some of that sugar by hunting mus.
It didn't take long to find one lurking around in the darkness and 8.2 grains of Meisterkugeln lead did it's job.

Dog flea/tick control

. BTW dog seizures look nothing like human seizures -
Grand mal (major) seizures, the most common in dogs, look pretty much the same, if not even more violent. Petit mal (minor) seizures on the other hand, can take on almost any form and are less common, but probably what you observed. The class of drugs which includes Simparica/Simparica Trio, Nexgard/Nexgard Plus, Bravecto, Credelio/Credielio Quatro, etc (isoxazolines) ALL come with a warning to use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures. The most likely explanation in your case is that it unmasked a subclinical form of epilepsy, especially if it was a younger dog (less than 5 yrs old). I have seen dogs with a history of seizures take these drugs with no problems, and others that it definitely affected - which matches the label to "use with caution", vs "contraindicated". You just don't know until you try it. Most of the time, we avoid using these with a history of seizures, unless the owner is fully-informed and still wants to go with it. Also most of the time, they still do fine, but not always. On the upside, they are incredibly effective -the most powerful tool we've ever had against fleas/ticks, and we see very few experience side effects. I'm sure you are aware that almost any drug ever produced has a website or twelve dedicated to how "deadly" it is, where most of the data presented is anecdotal and not clinically proven. While my experience may be different tomorrow, (and is also "anecdotal", since I'm not involved in a current clinical study) I can say that to date we have not seen a death directly attributed to isoxazolines since they were introduced (Nexgard was the first to market in 2013). Seizures - yes, but no deaths.

India vs Pakistan

So this is why I haven't been getting multiple calls from random numbers I don't know.

If these two go to war, its gonna be entertaining.

Imagine what this would look like if everybody was midgets!

These guys probably all have to retire at age 35 due to every joint in their lower body being arthritic.

First post here, but question regarding m855 ammo

So, with imi, pmc x tac, lake city m855, will all of them hold the same zero as m855 ammo with a trijicon acog or will the zero differ between brands even though its all m855 ammo?
The zeros will likely differ. Why are you leaning toward m855? If it's because you know your rifle prefers it to m193, then that's reason enough.

Either m193 or m855 is good ammo, as long as you can live with it's short comings. Either can be effective, assuming that it is still above it's threshold velocity of around 2500 fps, below which it loses it's ability to tumble, yaw and fragment. It's pretty good stuff for a 20 or even 16", but for an 11.5, not so much, with an effective range of about 50 yards. For up close, it should be fine.

As far as m855 goes, pmc xtac has been pretty consistent from lot to lot. I get about 2 moa out of it and hitting reduced c zone type targets out to 300 is pretty easy. Beyond that, it gets dicey, especially is there more than a 5 mph wind.

Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Little known fact, that ain’t a movie but a documentary about my uncles

and some city fellers
I was trying to explain the cultural impact of this film, having Burt Reynolds not being smokey alone is something and in hillbilly butt fuckery and murder it was a great show. He could have given a fuck less, to say I am disappointed just doesn't cut it.

serial #5 from Nighthawk made in honor of Clint Smith from thunder ranch, fuck ya I wear it daily.

Gunsmithing How to clean area right before chamber

Can you take a couple more photos of the area of your first photo, or maybe a short video leading the borescope into that area? Because that first black looks like the mother of all carbon rings at the top of your neck.

When you say the area of the first photo, you mean the first photo in the group of the 3 right?

If so, I should be able to get some more pics, maybe even vid. I'm not sure I can upload a video and it show the full quality, never done it before but I can try.
