Sig P320 Paranoia Setting in.

Ok, I have no dog in this fight, but I'm curious about something after I read your post.

You say yours has a manual safety. It makes me wonder, of all the 320's that have fired by themselves, how many of them had a manual safety? Any of them?

I'm a 1911 guy, hence my curiosity.
I agree how many M17 or M18's that all have thumb safeties have UND's?

The only non M17/M18 P320's shown now by SIG are the California versions in 4.7' barrels comes with LCI cuts on the slide /barrel , a Magazine Disconnect and a small grip. So I bought one, retrofitted a non LCI slide and barrel and removed the MD part, added a medium grip, now looking for 1/3 cowitness sights. So far so good, tight groups with Gold Dot 124+P, we will see.

Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+/ Sig Sauer KIL010K-ABS HD 10x42mm AB GEN II/ Revic Acura BLR10b Binocular, or VECTRONIX SHOOTING SOLUTIONS VECTOR X

Hi I asked this in another thread on the vector x, I’ve also emailed saphron/vectronix with no response. I’m going to hopefully go out and verify this for myself today or tomorrow but does anyone know if any of these bino’s that utilize AB are giving corrected firing solutions? I know to see the angle corrected distance on the vector x, the ballistics needs to be off. I have no idea if the firing solution is LOS or corrected distance. Also I’m interested in knowing if they are connected to the kestrel would that give a corrected solution or if the inclination needs to be entered manually

Why am I piercing primers on this 6.5AR?

If you're using small primer brass, you will need to use a primer that has a thicker cup as BobinNC pointed out. Other thicker primer cup brands are CCI 450's, CCI BR 4, Remington 7-1/2 and the Federal Small Rifle AR match.

I would try a thicker primer cup before buying a High pressure bolt. The pin hole diameter on the H/P bolt is about .068". The standard bolt pin hole diameter is .070" or so. The H/P firing pin tip will be about .066".

There's a lot of info on the net about this, especially when using large frame AR's in 6.5 CM.

I think you Lantac match bolt is the larger pin size.

Nearly all of the commercially made 6.5 CM AR's have the H/P bolt. This was discovered a few years ago.

Did you put your AR together yourself, or did you buy a the Rifle from a commercial vendor?
I assembled it myself. I think I have a box of remingtons, and cci mags. I will try that as well.
