I agree how many M17 or M18's that all have thumb safeties have UND's?Ok, I have no dog in this fight, but I'm curious about something after I read your post.
You say yours has a manual safety. It makes me wonder, of all the 320's that have fired by themselves, how many of them had a manual safety? Any of them?
I'm a 1911 guy, hence my curiosity.
I carry a S&W Model 38 appendix, Sig P365 manual safety OWB at 4 o'clock or a Colt Steel Frame Combat Commander, cocked and locked. Not that my old balls are needed anymore but they only see a J frame. You need something more age appropriate like a 1911 or a 38 snub nose.
That’s cuz they were designed and manufactured in a country where not everyone gets a trophy.
I sent them an email a week ago with no reponse unfortunately. Maybe I will send them another one.Suggest you email [email protected] . My experience with AMP customer service was top shelf (albeit that was five years ago).
I assembled it myself. I think I have a box of remingtons, and cci mags. I will try that as well.If you're using small primer brass, you will need to use a primer that has a thicker cup as BobinNC pointed out. Other thicker primer cup brands are CCI 450's, CCI BR 4, Remington 7-1/2 and the Federal Small Rifle AR match.
I would try a thicker primer cup before buying a High pressure bolt. The pin hole diameter on the H/P bolt is about .068". The standard bolt pin hole diameter is .070" or so. The H/P firing pin tip will be about .066".
There's a lot of info on the net about this, especially when using large frame AR's in 6.5 CM.
I think you Lantac match bolt is the larger pin size.
Nearly all of the commercially made 6.5 CM AR's have the H/P bolt. This was discovered a few years ago.
Did you put your AR together yourself, or did you buy a the Rifle from a commercial vendor?
