I always wore a metric ton of bug spray, and then just hunted into the wind (although never purposefully for coyotes). If you don't have the open land that allows for that though, then it is a worthless idea.

There is another thing I see in those photos that I have heard batted around. One gas port is almost completely in the groove and the other almost completely cut through a land.

IIRC there is a form of "fencing" in front of the bleachers because they are literally track side... I mean like the front row can prop their legs up on the sides of the track. And the track is nowhere near as wide as a current NHRA track...maybe half that wide. Like lets say 3 cars wide total...

Drag racing IMO is a pretty sketchy deal for spectators as you generally can line the wall the entire length of the track... The dangerous part is generally half track and further.

We watched a drifting event a few weeks ago and the shit they get away with on the track would get us actual track rats banned from the track forever. Some dude GOT OUT OF HIS CAR while the track was hot, to rip his bumper off, toss it away, and then keep going. The first session they said "oh we had a car catch on fire" and the rest of us went "holy shit thats bad" and the guy goes "they didnt even stop the event, just put it out with some fire extinguishers and kept rolling"

It is damned near impossible to get anodized color matches between the two alloy types. Black is manageable but any other colors are a MF'r.
Anodizers will not guarantee a match and will usually try to dissuade attempting it if they figure out that is your goal.

I'm prolly talking out of my ass here but hey, usual day.

I mean, people have grown to like the 50 shades FDE SCARs.

I'm in the camp of AI should have anodized the aluminum bits like they did in the PSR. Cerakote is such a cheap finish, it scratches and peels too easily.

The "barrel lock" on both guns is a "safety" notch like on a STEN gun. It holds the barrel open for loading and then released so the barrel can move rearward where it catches the sear. There is not enough pressure in a shotgun shell to overcome the barrel spring and cause the barrel to be shot off the frame.
