Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Like most podcast / news types. You run out of content after a while. Just like Rogan you start having quacks on because you need something for a few hours.

Ryan has really practiced becoming a profession time interviewer almost like old school 60 minutes. He doesn’t jump important guests that hard..because if you do then next guys won’t come on.
Shawn opened that interview saying to Newsome "I've got to give you credit for having the balls to come on here."

Newsome told some lies, of course. Some say Shawn didn't press on him hard enough. He kept it very civil. Like you said, he doesn't jump guests. He's in the top 10 list, so he must be doing something right.

Rifle Scopes DNT and an M brace mount

Post a pic of the DNT laying in the 32mm high mount. I have a couple 38mm mounts and can eyeball it for you once I see your pics
Apparently (and this was stupid on my part not to check before posting this), the 38mm mount WILL fit the DNT scope. I know this because the M brace mount I had my Leupold Mk4hd in IS 38mm and holds the scope with plenty of clearance.

F**kin Monday part 2

Not sure how to “sight in” my glock

It doesn't appear to be a mis-match of sight height. Something with the barrel or slide being out of spec would be the logical suspect. As suggested above try swapping the parts around to see if it can be isolated given the factory parts shot well.

Agreed... Those sights look to be a pretty standard height, I'd put the factory barrel and slide back on to see how well you shoot with it and post some pics of it now vs. the factory setup. Gen 5 G45's are capable of pretty good precision with good ammo for a striker fired polymer gun from the factory, I'd suspect that barrel and slide combo could have lost you some precision and accuracy.

Any Auto Technicians Here?

Just hope it’s not a newer car and that the central computer didn’t get zorched!

There are supposed to be safeguards.

BUT… strange things can happen that put a jolt into the ECU’s and similar systems.

It can be like when the monkey peed into the cash register… it will run into money!

Sirhr

1) There is no "central computer" on a modern car; in fact, quite the opposite (it's a distributed network).

2) Many of those modules are indeed pretty frickin important. Because of this, virtually every electronic module is protected against reverse voltage (-14VDC for 60 sec per ISO 16750-2 4.7) and either will not draw current (diodes are a remarkable invention) or will pop fuses as protection.

Alternators are notable exceptions - maybe the fusible link pops, or maybe one or more rectifier diodes blow (we joke that this is desirable in order to protect the fuse).

Accessories ADM Delta 30mm and 34mm Mounts

I found 7 more of these mounts over the weekend while doing some cleanup/inventory of parts. All of them are NIB.

I could really use a couple similar mounts in 30mm that are cantilevered on trade. I could also use triggers for 700 clones, triggers for ARs and M5 bottom metal for 700 short actions. I also need one long action M5 bottom metal that is CIP length.
