Bartlein vs PVA Osprey

I was a strict cut rifled guy and why I sent Josh my Bartleins before they even had Ospreys but after trying the Ospreys I have no problem using them. The button rifled had that bad rep but the Ospreys don’t share that even though they are also button.

A quality button rifled barrel will shoot. I've had buttoned Benchmarks that shot great.

Haven't tried an Osprey, but I would be open to trying one some day.

M24 Prototype up for grabs

I sent an angry email…….I’m guessing someone sad we can’t sell this without a model number on the receiver.

I was kinda wondering about that since I’m just pretty sure you’re required to log a model and that needs to be marked on the gun as well.

Call and talk to D, he’s been very helpful and accommodating for me. I’ve bought several of these archive guns from them without issue.

Any Remington 750 gurus?

If it’s anything like a 742 or 760 series of rifles then yes. I would advise against it though. Those things were garbage to begin with; not worth the time, effort, or money.
If you are after a cheap .35 Whelen get a Savage 10/110 or Remington 700 adl and throw a .35 Whelen barrel of your choosing on in.
If that doesn’t satisfy you and you need a medium bore semi auto, the HK slb rifles in 9.3x62 can be found on GB for under 1500. Once in a while a Browning BAR will pop up in that calibre as well. And if that still doesn’t do it for you Criterion keeps threatening to make M1 barrels in .35 Whelen.
