LuckyDuck Reviews: Timex Expedition Titanium Automatic

G-Shock atomic solar. Currently, I have 3. One of them is over 21 years old and still going strong. I figure they'll outlive me.

As only accurate rifles are interesting, so are only accurate watches. Though I own ONE, automatics are not accurate enough for me.

But if you're really wanting a nice titanium field watch, Citizen makes one - Promaster. I have one. If you look around on Watchrecon you can find them for much less.

He can't...........he would be in position to become President if something happened to Vance...........according to the written laws, that cannot happen.............
22nd Amendment :
"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term."

My reading of the 22nd Amendment is that it clearly pertains to elections and the installation into the office due to elections ONLY. It says nothing about assuming the Presidency through the chain of command or any other means. It is silent on all means to ascend to the Presidency EXCEPT elections. I do not see how any Judge who is fluent in the English language could twist and bend that to mean anything other than exactly what it says.

Totally legal for Trump to run as VP, and also totally legal for him to assume the Presidency if something happens to The President (not an election). He just can't run and be elected to the office of The President again. It'd take me two seconds to write that amendment so that a two termer could never again SERVE as President, and therefore not run as VP, but that-is-not what it says.

Surefire ICAR

If you're gonna goldilocks might as well goldilocks all the way and do a midsized AR between the 15 and 10... Lucky13? Seems like that with a bimetal case could really push a 110-120gr ATip pretty quick and a 90 ELD VT would be pretty legit too.

On that note, can you share anything about possible upcoming 25 CM loadings besides the ELD M / X already out? A VT would be sweet
Bimetal / hybrid cases chew up chambers below the 0.2" line, ask me how I know.

Razor gen3

It’s useful to note that 80% of the targets in 2025 were within 150M. Also with 90 sec par times and 12 shots/stage and generally 4-10 positions, FOV and parallax forgiving optics matter a lot.

With Anzio essentially defunct, is anyone else making 20mm or larger modern rifles available in the U.S.?

I don’t know for sure about the 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum but the 460 Smith & Wesson Magnum uses rifle primers not pistol primers.

Load the 460 using pistol primers and you are gonna have a regrettable day. Ask me how I know
I’ll try them
I am loading my 500 with large pistol magnum
But definitely have more large rifle and large rifle magnum.

I never really thought to try those out.

Thank you

But that's not what the drop tests on LRH show! (I'll duck and run now before the arguments start)

I believe some of the illumination issues with the LHT were narrowed down to different brands of batteries having slightly different shapes and edge radii, and because the LHT illumination push button actually moves the battery in the contacts some brands of batteries didn't work as well as others because of the slight differences in battery shape. If you call vortex for an illumination issue now, while they're happy to look at the scope, they usually recommend you try a different brand of battery first; I believe they'll even send you what brand they know works properly.
Most illumination issues are battery related, but those push button switches can also get finicky. They do keep the side focus turret compact.

I did a whole livestream with Scott on scope failures a little while back.

A while back I had a chance to look at the service data for this scope. If memory serves me right, there were a few that came back because the illumination push button was acting up. All other complaints could not be tracked down to any scope problems.
The couple that I have tried to diagnose for people over the years (complaints about not holding zero) were not scope problems either. It was fairly evenly divided between mount issues and the user's superclavicular issues.

Vortex Razor LHT

It’s a Razor Light weight Hunting scope not designed for extreme range use but can double as an SPR type scope.
Most hunting shots are under 400 yards do
No more than 6 mils is generally needed

If it was built as tough and with all the features of a Gen 3 Razor it would look snd cost like a Gen 3 Razor
