Same experience. I see the value of the dedicated cans approach, i just had so many SR mounts and started with the 338 can I decided to standardize all my AXMC barrels to the SR so I knew I had one can that would work well with all of them if I wanted to simplify the gear haul to the line.

I think the last time I did a bench press was my entrance exam to the Academy c 2005... and I weighed 195 and pressed 240. I think I needed to do 80 percent of body weight to pass. So I was ok with that.

Today, I'd probably be lucky to press 150 without suffering an infarction. But WTF... I'm 60-something.

I'll see what I can do and report in next few weeks. If I don't, you can assume I died.

So spent the last couple of weekend trying to boost my "Concrete Work" Cred here on SH. You know, to show that I own that sniper rep. Though my tab says Marksman/Observer. But it's sniper-adjacent.

Regardless... Granite posts. 6" thick footer with rebar going 36 inches down. 18" tall 16x16" base with a welded-up rebar cage to contain the granite post. 15 x 15" x 13" final sheathing with the granite posts caged in the rebar.

Will include two bars, each 12 feet long. And a sign that makes it clear that if you go past this gate and are unauthorized, you will regret it.

I picked up CATs 6arc can to dedicate to mine and love it. Shot at a local indoor range yesterday with it and had zero gas to the face, and sounded great when Ive shot it outdoors as well. 18” rlgs with a5h2 and springo green spring it shoots very smooth
