You're right. I knew I left a step out when I punched it into the keyboard. If I had the math, I'd be one designing the stuff that others would be trying to figure out.

Still, I think that the gist of what I was saying holds. The velocity of the BCG on the forward stroke is affected by the velocity of the BCG on the rearward stroke.

I use an parker hale on my AI a fair bit too but those need time put in to use well.

With like a 135gr ATIP I'm at like 42.5 or maybe 42.8gr. In the low 2800fps range with H4350. Going off of memory. I know with the 150gr bullets I'm at 41.4/41.5 which is good for 2700fps. My barrels are 23" finish.

So your barrel being 26" should stand to reason it would be a touch faster.

Also keep in mind.... lots of powder, what spec reamer was actually used to cut the chamber etc... all can make a difference.

They were seated at 2.780” COAL.

I’m still on 3.27 and avoiding the update. I mistakenly thought that if you turned the App off in the phone it would stop asking to update. I had the app On, and apparently it pushed the update to the unit and it has it in memory because now even with the app closed out, it’s asking to update every time I turn the unit on. You have to be careful not to accidentally click OK, thinking you’re just going through the 5 or so “OKs” you have to click every time you turn it on.
