Leveling a scope is dumb

Using quality riflescopes and bases, the feeler gauge method has never failed me. You can be Zero'd and shooting before the leveling dude is done leveling with a small amount of practice. You are then as level from the bore axis with respect to the turrets as your base is. Note: This is for one piece bases on a bolt gun. Carry on on an AR mount or 2 peice bases.

Rifle Scopes Alpha Class High Magnification 6-36/7-35 FFP Scope Review

@koshkin talked with @flyer1a on a stream about his feedback on the a419 video. They also talked about taking in camera Pic issues. I'm not in the market for anything but thought it was good.

East Plano Islamic Center: 74 homes only member of Masque can purchase. Sharia Law etc

More delicious irony.

If your "us," "our," and "we" forces ever tried to bring that fantasy to life, American Men wouldn't touch your kids, wouldn't burn your homes, no fake Ghenghis Khan story would be told... but would serve it back COLD on on those responsible, quickly, and in ways that would give you one final lesson in Liberty before you go on to meet your maker.

...and why would they pursue this angle rather than via the authorities? To restore the honor of "honor" of American Men.

Never stop being so GOD DAMNED DELISH, you guys...

Don't take the Boom Bait- the "Sharia Law" angle on the story is perfectly fraudulent... extrapolated from a statement that Community Capital Partners made about Islamic banking.

"Islamic banking principles" are something that I happen to follow myself... though I don't call it that.

I ecourage all others to avoid the riba (usury), punish gharar (financial scamming), avoid risk, never purchase an asset that is fake or made up, etc... etc...
What are "Islamic banking principles?"

OK, then make that happen.

I live in a world of reality. As we saw first hand with obummer, HOPE is not a viable plan. They are here, we can't just kill them, and they won't simple say "hay, I want to go back to assholeastan where I have seen Sharia Law work so much better than what they use here."

Any better option then them not living anywhere near me? Please do tell.
You are correct, we all live in a world of reality.

I would still like to see them leave the country anyway. It would be nice if we could make them leave but the courts and the cops are on their side and they know it. So that's not possible unless we can change the courts and the cops. That's only possible through elections.

In the meantime, we can only oppose them through legal means. If anyone chooses to make their lives miserable, they ought to do it covertly and hope they don't get caught. 'Nuff said.

I don't trust any of them and would rather shit on them than give them the time of day.

group by on M40a1 barrels

Several others have sent in they're info and the orders are entered and confirmations sent out.

If you have not received your confirmation get a hold of us.

I think there are 4 or 6 guys said they wanted one but haven't sent in they're info.

I'm cutting it off Wednesday. So last call. If nothing by Wednesday I'm taking the orders out to the shop so the stuff can get in process.

Later, Frank

6mm BR

This is a 6BR barrel that I picked up used for $200. The person I purchased it from has no information on this barrel as he bought it for the action. All we know is that it’s a 1-10” twist.
No manufacturer or gunsmith name on it.
Savage style barrel nut.
Where would you go from here?
I only have around 35 GM205M primers but I will search out more if testing proves that group sizes are smaller than with BR-4’s
From my limited testing it seems that it may be the case.
That’s the next test I will be doing this weekend.
The snow is just starting to clear from our range and a good spring cleaning and target stand repair is needed

"The captain now faces criminal charges from local, state, and federal agencies and dire professional consequences.
Horner was charged with felony burglary with assault or battery and released from the Charlotte County Jail on Saturday morning on $20,000 bail.
The US Coast Guard and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are also investigating and may file additional charges.
His business websites and social media pages were taken offline and his reputation appeared to be in tatters."
This is why one needs a firearm even when on the water. You never know when you will have to repel borders.

Rangefinding binoculars for archery

I am about to upgrade my Leica HDB's to a newer unit. The ranging on close targets less than 100 yards can be a bit off depending on how reflective the target it. I will get a few yard difference ranging a Morrell field target bale (big round flat target) or ranging the water-resistant target faces that are pretty shiny. They will be used mostly for ranging 3D targets, which all the Delta/Mckinsey 3D targets seem to have about the same sheen. My sons Sig Kilo 6k's do not do this, they are much more accurate at ranging, glass is just no where near the Leica glass. Having a RFB that is more accurate than the older HDB can mean the difference in catching a 12 or dropping into an 8 or a 10. So I am looking at the Sig Kilo 10k Gen2, Leica Pro 10x42, or the Vetronix 10x42. Does anyone have experience using them for archery ? Or even just playing with them at close range ?

THANKS!

Tariff effects on imported optics

Yes. I guess you didn't read my entire post 918. What does it even mean to "buy American" anymore? With scopes it frequently means assembled in the U.S. But if the parts come from outside the U.S. - like Japanese glass for example - those parts will be subject to a tariff. And even if a scope is assembled in the U.S. from parts made in the U.S., what about the materials used to mfg. those parts, like aluminum for instance? And if all the foreign made scopes start costing 20-30% more, don't you think U.S. companies will also raise their prices because they can, since we no longer have the option of buying a foreign made scope at a competitive price?

But you are right, you can always choose not to buy anything at all, although I hope you have a bunch of ammo set aside, don't shoot much, or are ok with going to the range, pointing your rifle at targets and making "pew pew" noises so you don't have to actually use any ammo.
