I agree for PRs it’s basically a non issue but field matches it still can be a benefit. I’m not advocating for chasing speed but it can be helpful at times to be shooting flatter

Yup if they made you range your targets with a reticle. If using a LRF it’s still not really an issue. But he has the option to speed it up or slow it down pretty easily with the 6 Creedmoor.

Yes, wind.

Going faster might mean you catch the edge of a plate because of an already crappy wind call, but I wouldn’t trade that for being able to see more downrange on every single shot. Nope.

Inside 600 yards ~3000fps is over before most any of us can see shit.
I kinda figured that after I ran the numbers. We agree
