Firearms 338 RUM

Remington XCR II in 338 Ultra Mag

Rifle has been shot less than 75 times. I’m the second owner the previous owner was on TBH which is where I bought it. After I got the rifle it was threaded, bedded and trued this was done by a gunsmith in Hempstead TX. I have all reloading equipment for it. It shot under MOA with factory ammo but with 250 bergers it will stack them on top of each other with single digit SD and ES. I’ve shot several 3” groups at 800 yds. It was super easy to load for. Not pushing it at 2780 with Berger 250 OTM. I bought a suppressor in 30 cal and don’t plan on getting any bigger so this one needs a new home. It also comes with hs stock (installed) and the original Remington stock and talley 30mm rings and bases. 1300 OBO. 2000 with all ammo and components listed.

The following ammo and reloading is available for the 338 RUM not selling before the rifle sells.Easily over $1000.
2-boxes(full) of Remington 250gr psp
1-box (full) Remington 250 Swift A-frame
2-boxes (full) Nosler custom 225 Accubond
15-cartridges Barnes 225 TTSX
2- boxes of Berger 250 OTM
1.5 -boxes (75)of Berger 300 Hybrid
1-box ADG brass with 25 loaded that shoots really well. I have the load that was made. Also some loaded that shot ok I didn’t pull and could use as foulers
RCSB dies

USO MST-100 Reticle Broken

Anyone ever seen the reticle break on an USO MST-100?

I've sent an email, but since it's Sunday I know I probably won't hear back for a few days. Just curious if anyone has any firsthand experience and whether they can/will fix it?

Pic attached - it broke right below the bottom mil-dot on the lower vertical crosshair. Mounted to M40A1, 330 rounds through it, no abuse.

Remington MSR / PSR bolts

I wanted to let everyone know we are working to produce some of the missing MSR/PSR parts. These are awesome rifles, but it seems like there are more chassis’s and actions than bolt bodies and other small parts.

Currently we are working on the bolt stop, bolt body, and firing pin assembly.

If anyone has knowledge about the system,
experience or connections in producing a small run of parts like this please let me know.

Please comment with which parts you need as well as the quantity.

I will keep everyone updated with the progress here as well.

The parts will be marked to indicate that they are not factory original parts. But should function and appear like the factory parts.

When we get to production, Kace at Raider Outdoors will be handling distribution in a separate post. https://raideroutdoors.com/

Quality Chamber Job - Smith Recommendations

I've been living in the land of prefits for my Zermatt actions. I have access to a reamer and a barrel that I'd like to get chambered and threaded. Don't mind sending my action in if it makes it that much better.

Looking for recommendations on someone trustworthy that would do a good job dialing it in and cutting it. Wait time isn't super crucial but I've been quoted 8 weeks by a couple. Price isn't the determining factor but I've seen some that are quite high IMO. I don't have anyone local that's worth a crap so I've all but decided to ship it all out. In NW AR. if it happens to matter.

Just looking to see who you would trust to chamber an expensive barrel.

So fertility rates are plunging because men don’t make sammiches?

This is why these Harvard twats need to be defunded into oblivion.

Nah… if men do more housework, today’s Karen’s would squirt out kids like Pez Dispensers.

Sure Harvard moron. Thank god NPR is still on the air so someone will report this sociological blather as fact.

P.S. bet you do the dishes because you are a cuck!

Who wants to boycott 3 shot group reviews & reviewers?

I'm a lifelong lover of all things pistols, rifles & shotguns & have been all my life.
I have subscriptions to all the gun stuff channels that I'm aware of & I love to look, listen & learn about everything guns.
Lately though, I see so many channels pissing & shitting on every rifle manufacturer you can think of based primarily on accuracy & repeatability using as little & more often than not on one single, piss poor 3 shot fucking group.
I've finally lost my shit over this bullshit 3 shot group toss that so many no-nuffs think is all telling & conclusive. They upload this garbage to YouTube & think they know WTF they are talking about.
I'm asking for opinions on what you guys really think.
Should these no-nuff plonkers continue to blame powder, primers, barrels, actions, brass & projectiles or, whatever they see fit with, nothing more than one dogshit 3 shot group?
Fuck em I say. From now on, I'm calling these plonkers out in their comments sections. No longer will I say nothing.

SOLD WTS - Shadow Tech Pig Tripod with SunwayFoto XB-52 Ball Head

Looking to sell one of my tripod setups. The shadow Tech is very sturdy and easy to set up. In some ways. I prefer it over my Radian because it only has two leg sections and I find the latches on the Pig Tripod to be a bit faster. This tripod by itself weighs 5.6 lbs while the Vortex Radian comes in at 5.0 lbs, so only about a half pound difference.

The XB-52 ball head is low profile and has a 132 lb max load making them very stable and easy to shoot from. This combination will support pretty much any rifle and has allowed me to make hits on 2/3 IPSC plates at 800 yards while standing. I am also throwing in a padded tripod case, see pics.

The ball head alone on Amazon is $240, I'm asking $280 for everything.

PP F&F preferred, PM with any questions or for more pictures.

Is the March FX 4.5-28x52 my new ZCO?

Of course this is a somewhat rhetorical question, but there is an ounce of query in there. You see, I just picked up a new March FX 4.5-28x52 on sale from Eurooptic. If you have ever looked into this brand you will note that it is generally very expensive, and the premium is interesting considering most Japanese scopes, OEM, or otherwise are in general more affordable when compared to a ZCO, Tangent, or SnB. However from all I can tell this model is absolutely on par with any one of those brands, and it's understandable now why it commands a premium. Now, I have not had time yet to take it out to distance and see how it tracks but I can tell you that from every thing I can see it compares very well against a ZCO or an SNB, and even my old TT and Premier. This honestly feels like the most refined optic I have ever owned, and I have owned about every top tier brand besides a ZCO, now I feel I don't need a ZCO frankly. With the 4.5-28x52 the glass is stunning in clarity, pop, color, and resolution. The wide angle eyepiece offers a very wide field of view, more so than any of my other tactical scopes. Optically it's very impressive considering it's compact size, the glass is very reminiscent of a PM2 in color temperature. At the upper range the eyebox seems a little tight but otherwise 25x and lower it's fine. The turrets are very audible and positive, the zero stop is an eloquent design and easy to set. All of the controls are smooth and offer excellent feedback and lockup. The engravings even look premium and perfect. Though I will not take it out to distance until next week the reticle is excellent, it's not to thick, nor to thin at any mag, it's laser sharp, and all the markings are exactly where they should be, as a matter of fact the reticle was designed by our resident Dark Lord Of Optics, and i'll say great job Mr. Koshkin! Though March has been around for a while it's nice to see them coming out with something so premium. I think the other top tier European brands need a good Japanese competitor. I truly appreciate Japanese excellence, refinement, and attention to detail and the March FX 4.5-28x52 is a great example of Japanese perfectionism, in fact I am so impressed I may have to pick up another March should the need arise.

After I take this the distance I will report further on the scopes performance.

If you want a further review and way more detail on this optic I highly recommend Glassaholics extensive review and comparo against the Canada's main battleship the Tangent Theta.
