When I ordered this, I was not sure how much I'd use it, so I left it in its box for a very long time, unopened. Eventually, I decided to open it and go ahead and "mount" it (more on that later) to a new rolling 84" toolbox I kept in my finished/HVAC-controlled walk-out basement. I only used it to mount two muzzle devices (one on an AXSA barrel and one on a PredatOBR barrel). I only ever used the "V" inserts. I never used the "gold" ARCA or Picatinny jaws, and I never used the aluminum soft jaws. Again, the only thing I used were the V-inserts. I kept a microfiber towel between the two gold jaws to make sure they ever touched each other.

To double underscore how little it was used, I never actually mounted it to the toolbox. I have some fancy black MDF that I cut into three sections so that there would be modularity, but those there MDF sections never got mounted to the toolbox, so it was only ever mounted to pieces of black MDF that were not even attached to the top of the rolling tool box. . . . all of that is to say that If I were doing any "real" work with this, I would have had to actually mount it to something that wouldn't move.

Because of the very, very little use and my anticipated future needs for it (which are basically none) what I ended up doing was decided to put this up for sale and ordered a Short Action Customs Barrel Vise for when I need to do barrel work.

This vise is SMOOTH (and it should be for what they cost).

The vise will come with a second mounting base (which cost $150). As you can see in the second-to last picture, there is a corner of the first base that must have been dropped at the Orange factory - it does not affect the use at all, and if you orient it to the rear, you never even see it. When I asked Area 419 about it, they sent me a second base for the trouble. The second base was never used.

The Orange Vises are now $2,000 by themselves WITHOUT Area419 kit and the extra base.

So, my asking price is going to be $2050 shipped fully insured CONUS. I know that's steep, but Orange is located in California, so they're dealing with not just inflation, but also the cost of doing business under that regime.

I have a Used Leupold Mark 4 12-40x60 TMR Reticle plus Badger Ordnance Lightweight frame installed on it. Included also is the Tripod mount. I have the original Scope cover however it will not fit with he Combat Kit installed. I also have a small tripod which i will include but it fits loose onto thsi tripod. The end plate needs to be changed. I sold my night vision so i do not need this spotting scope i have a larger one. Has been sitting in safe for about 5 years, it is used ,I have owned scope at least 10 years. Price $1,300.00. The tripod has one of the clamps broken but still usable. ( this is just a bonus)

498 x my hand load. The That load is Berger 105, 40 grains of RL16 and Lapua brass.

20 rounds of FGMM Berger 105 factory ammo.

The hand loads run right at 3050fps at 2500 ft above sea level. The FGMM with the same bullet was faster than my hand load. Those ran at 3125 or so. I only chrono’d 5 of them but was surprised they were faster than my hand loads because I considered my hand loads to be mild. I didn’t know they were THAT mild though. Better for barrel life I guess.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm not 100% certain if this question is cool here, please remove if not. But I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to sell a rifle to in Kentucky? I tried a certain gun co, but they said it had too many upgrades (only the furniture and extension tube). And I've heard the consignment shop with the BRc initials has caused some people to have distrust with themselves. I wanted to see if there's anyone with better knowledge than I do. Broker is a last resort, due to the fees and risk of payment mess. If there's any clarifications, please ask. I welcome the recommendations, thank you.

Bought this a while back from Mile High.
It was a LEO/Agency contract sniper rifle that had been hardly used. I don’t know which agency and MHS wouldn’t tell me either, but it seems obvious they were mimicking FBI’s HRT rifles. The barreled action is a short action REM 700 Tactical 20” in 308. It came bedded to this Micmillan A5 stock with EFR. Comes with a Badger mount as well.

I don’t know if it’s been trued/blueprinted, but this rifle plain shoots with factory FGMM. I’m consistently getting sub .75MOA 5-shot groups at 100yds and I’ve gotten several sub-.5MOA groups as well.
I’ve put less than 200rds down the barrel since I’ve had it, and I’d wager there was fewer than that through it when I got it.

I wish I could keep it, but home improvements come first.

The rifle will not come with scope, rings, bipod, or stock pouch. These items only remain on the gun until it sells or I get a chance to get out and shoot some groups for proof of accuracy.

Hi guys,
Looking to pick up one of the new Tikka T3x rifles in 6.5 CM. I like the ACE Game because it comes with the single stage trigger (which i prefer) and fluted barrel (which, I admit, I'm a sucker for). But the game has a 20" barrel that's a little bit thinner. If i go with the game over the target, am i giving up anything? Is the Target going to be more accurate? Is there any difference that I'm not taking into account?

I can get one for relatively cheap (just below $600 shipped with muzzle device) and I’m wondering if it’s “too good to be true” and just downright not worth it.
