Reloading Bench

Hey folks, first post here, I have seen some pretty nice bench builds and some improvised benches from Harbor Freight. I want to build my own so after scouring the forum I came up with a design I think will work well. I am planning to build the base out of 4x4 lumber. The base pieces will be assembled with 3/8" x 7" lag screws. For the top I plan on a combination of a 1.75" solid core door and .75" MDF for a total thickness of 2.5". I stepped the bottom shelves back about 6' so I can get my knees under the table a bit to sit comfortably. I will be mounting my Lyman T-Mag 2 press that sits on a 9" riser base from inline fabrication.

I am new to reloading and this will be my first bench built for that purpose. Any reasons why this bench wouldn't work? Any considerations I may have not thought of?

Autotrickler V3 - Won't Throw

Purchased a used V3 from the hide. Kit arrived and the scale had a broken motor lever. Had to purchase a replacement and got it setup. After charging 30 rounds the throw stopped cycling. It begins to engage but doesn't spin the small sprocket on the left. Anyone had this issue before? I didn't want to open the machine and start troubleshooting blind. I'm awaiting a response from Adam and hopeful this is a simple fix. I've been fighting this unit since purchasing at the start of the year. Help is appreciated.V3 stuck

Another Squirrel Rifle

IMG_9932.png
Sighted this rifle yesterday. 50 yards 5 shots at 1/2” dot. It took a bit of tapping to get it centered of course. May not be perfect yet, had a bit of gusty wind. It’s close enough for 50 yard headshots on squirrels.
We have a snow storm moving in so first outing will be a rabbit hunt later this week.
Ammo is Winchester Super Match.

SOLD SOLD: Sgt of Arms Apex Predator Light (22 ARC)

I've been debating on selling this as it's such a sweet AR with top components. I'm just not using it much at all as I love my bolt rifles.

You can see and build here SOA Predator Light.

Over $3k New. I've got maybe 150 rounds down it. Shoots and functions awesome. Again, it just doesn't get the attention it deserves.

$2600 Shipped!

I'll provide more photos if interested.

YouTuber Trevor Jacob Sentenced to Six Months in Federal Prison for Crashing Plane in Publicity Stunt

Trevor Jacob has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for intentionally crashing a small plane in a YouTube publicity stunt.

Trevor Jacob has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for intentionally crashing a small plane in a YouTube publicity stunt.
As Breitbart News reported earlier this year, Jacob confessed to “intentionally crashing his single-engine airplane in a California national forest to gain views for a sponsorship deal, resulting in potentially serious legal trouble.”
“Jacob’s admission came as part of a plea agreement filed in federal court in Los Angeles, where he pleaded guilty to the charge of destruction and concealment with the intent to obstruct a federal investigation,” it reported at the time.
The offense carried a potential of 20 years in prison. Jacob received only six months. KTLA 5 provided some history of the event:
Prosecutors say Jacob waited two days to report the crash to the National Transportation Safety Board which told him to preserve the wreckage. He stalled the investigation by telling NTSB officials that he didn’t know where the plane went down, according to the DOJ.
More than two weeks after the crash, he and a friend flew a helicopter to the crash site and airlifted the wreckage to Rancho Sisquoc in Santa Barbara County, where it was loaded onto a trailer attached to Jacob’s pickup truck.
The U.S. Department of Justice accused Jacob of cutting up and destroying “the airplane wreckage and, over several days, deposited the detached parts of the wrecked airplane into trash bins at the airport and elsewhere.”
The FAA also revoked Jacob’s pilot’s license.

“It appears that [Jacob] exercised exceptionally poor judgment in committing this offense,” prosecutors argued in a sentencing memorandum.

“[Jacob] most likely committed this offense to generate social media and news coverage for himself and to obtain financial gain. Nevertheless, this type of ‘daredevil’ conduct cannot be tolerated.”
