I am a SS wet tumbler guy but loading .223 it is getting out of control with the amount of time it takes. What is a good media tumbler for an initial clean. It will be ran in the back of the house so noise is an issue.

Also what media should be used for a rough clean?

My plan is to dry tumble with primer pockets in, run them through the brass prep stage on the 650, wet tumble to get lube and clean primer pockets some, dry and run through the load tool head.

So have picked up a few different stocks recently that are flush cup. Any recommendations on over the shoulder slings that will stay put??

Anyone used the Berger 379gr and 407gr Match Solids in the Desert Tech HTI with its 1 in 10.5 twist?

Took a punt and purchased a large quantity of these as 375 projectiles are VERY scarce here in Aus.

Have conflicting info/opinion on whether the 1 in 10.5 twist may or may not be fast enough??

I have LR-308 DPMS gen 1 in .308 caliber gun and I'd like to convert it to 6.5 PRC. It is really difficult to find 6.5 PRC upper or 6.5 PRC barrel and BCG.
Ideally, I'd like to just get new upper but if there is no other way, then replace my .308 barrel and BCG.

I am looking for suggestions where I can find either option (complete 6.5 PRC upper or 6.5 PRC barrel and BCG).

I’m trying to clone a M40A3 and have the badger bottom metal. Would it be inaccurate to put on an MST-100 if I can find one? I know they switched over to the badger around 2007, but not sure when they went to the Schmidt and Bender. I also imagine that there were rifles that went out with one of the upgrades but not another?

I need to chamfer the inside of thousands of case necks on 25 GT and 6 Dasher virgin brass. The only operation I need to do to the brass is inside chamfer. I have two boys ages 6 and 8 that love to help me reload. Right now my only method is a cordless drill with a VLD chamfer tool chucked in it. The boys have a hard time doing a consistent chamfer with the drill and I can tell it's just a matter of time until their fingers slip off the brass and get cut on the chamfer tool.

What is the absolute easiest way that is fairly child friendly to do this operation?

I'm thinking some kind of case prep tool that aligns the brass in a pilot and goes to the same depth off the shoulder every time.

Sounds like Primary Arms is bringing out a replacement for thir GLX 2.5-10, not actually a rumor as it was all but confirmed here. Interested to see what this turns out to be.

I did read rumour that Tikka was coming out with a few competition orientated rifles, in particular a new rimfire model. Very interesting to see what this turns out to be.
