Savior Equipment SEMA Backpacks... Anyone have any experience with these?

I came across a product line from Savior Equipment today and suffice to say- it's held my attention. I did a quick search here but only see a handful of threads mentioning their rifle cases. but nothing about the two SEMA backpacks they sell (handgun focused). Specifically I'm asking about the below models...

1737273544551.png

I haven't been able to encounter this brand or product line "in the wild" yet but from what little I'm able to find about it these, I'm really digging what I see. I can envision a niche this would fill for me, seem to resemble a similar line from GPS and address some of the reasons I chose not to pursue trying out a GPS backpack for myself, but I'm just not familiar at all with these and what little I'm finding seem to also be biased reviews.

So I turn to the Hide to see if anyone has come across one of these personally or (even better) owns one and if so I was hoping to see what you thought of 'em. The elements I'm particularly interested in relates with the build & material quality/the realistic usability of the space/ the practicality of it's size (since it is a rigid design)/ and also- the weight. I find it to be rather odd that, at least as far as I can tell on their website, the weight of either bag isn't specified.

I have found that Midway at least provides the shipping weight (7.6lbs for the compact & 19.6lbs for the pro sized!?). Which doesn't seem to jive with what their marketing videos portray with the 'Pro' being about 30% larger. And truth be told I don't put much stock in the stated shipping weights from Midway nor does the shipping weight accurately translate to the product weight. But I'm sure you can see what that particular element has me scratching my head and why that'd be a significant consideration. I'll also say that Midway seems to be offering these at a much better price than by purchasing them directly from the company.

I will say the boxes they ship in are also rather unique (which I also dig) in that the interior of the cardboard boxes seem to contain shooting targets at each section. Pretty cool.

But yeah- anyone here use/see/handle either or both of these bags, and if so, what were your thoughts? I 'want' to love them and give them a chance but was hoping there would be some experience here to speak to their opinions. Thanks in advance.

So a private for profit corporation writes policy for most police departments

Not a great article but better then the other 2 I’ve seen this morning.

Hackers stole and released a trove of documents from Lexipol a private consulting firm that writes policies and manuals and training protocols for a majority of Americans police departments- in secret with no input from departments and without taking state laws into account.

Not sure where to go with this figured I’d throw it to the savage minds of the pit and have a discussion on it.

SOLD H&K MP5, Suppressor, and Accessories $4000.00

Ok, I am editing this post, with a substantial price reduction...........with help from a Hide member, I have learned that his firearm did not leave the HK factory as an MP5..............it began its life as an HK 94, is a short barrel conversion by a company called Rock Creek Gun Services out of Alabama. I am no expert on HK firearms, but I think the only difference between the firearms is the barrel length
Once again, the SBR, and suppressor would be a two stamp ATF deal.................$4000. to your FFL

I have a semi fire H&K MP5,KAC hand guard, SRW Trident suppressor, 4 straight H&K mags, plus a mag coupler, 4 curved H&K mags, MFI claw optics mount. The SBR, and Suppressor are NFA items, and will require 2 stamps. The rifle has a 3 lug muzzle device, and the suppressor has an adapter to fit it.
These items are from a family estate, and I have not fired it.

There is a thread that says it's probably a remarked HK94, but the paperwork I have from the ATF list it as an MP5......my brothers Form 4, and my form 5..........

I believe I can transfer both of the items on Form 4's to your FFL, the last suppressor I did took about 45 days.......
If you are from Kansas, it will be a much simpler transfer......

$4000.00, Plus shipping, and I will not break up the package, don't ask.

SOLD Proof 18” 6mm arc barrel, Grey Ghost Precision 15” handguard

Up for sale is a 18” stainless steel proof 6 arc barrel with between 100 and 150 rounds through it. The barrel does have some cosmetic damage due to me losing my patience with the gas block, after breaking all my hex keys on the gas block screws ended up drilling out the screws which left a slightly larger dimple, and there are some scratches around that area as well from me hammering the gas block off.

Besides that the barrel is very lightly used. Don’t have any groups from it. Never really tested its capabilities as I didn’t have an appropriate optic on that rifle and eventually just ran out of enthusiasm for the project. Kinda hate to sell it but it’s just sitting in a drawer and it’s time to let some stuff go.

$sold shipped, will include rifle +1 gas tube

Also selling this Grey Ghost Precision 15” ar-15 handguard. Got it as a “blem” but couldn’t find the blemish. This was used on a rifle but was only taken to the range a couple times, still in like new condition with no scratches or noticeable blemish. $sold

Horny aeromatch 77grsmk clones

Did a search here and found alot of info here but being a dinosaur whos still shooting mostly 5.56 and 6.8spc I was wondering about the jackets on these bullets.
I read in one thread that BHA was using these aeromatch in their mk262 ammo? Is that confirmed? If that is true then I would almost assume that the construction is truly a clone of the vaulted 77grSMK.
Im mainly concerned with its terminal performance and external ballistics. Has anyone sectioned one or did any sort of medium testing with this bullet?
I like Horny bullets and have been using the 75grbthp for my 262 clones lately because its too hard and too expensive to find and buy the seirra, clone velocities seem to be way easier to match or exceed with the 75s too. Accuracy is still moa at 300yds too, I did it yesterday actually. The only reason Im curious about the aeromatch is my ocd is screaming about using the wrong bullet. With all the money I put into cloning that rifle I have to use the correct bullet too right?

Bergara 7 PRC Build ADL Mag Box Feed Issue

Would appreciate thoughts on this. While I have assembled several rifles I am still learning and would classify myself a couple pegs above novice.

I chose the Bergara Action and HS Precision stock. I bought a standard Model 700 mag box, spring and follower. It fit fine. However cartridges do not stay in the mag box. Doesn’t seem to lock in. I’m swimming between these thoughts.

1. Bergara takes something different than standard 700 box?
2. Spring to strong? But cartridge still doesnt snap like my REM 700 does.
3. Feed lip need to be bent some? Heard of this but doesn’t seem like I should have to do that.

Thanks and forgive my inexperience.

SOLD Kokopelli Scope Ring Alignment And Lapping Kits

IMG_7681.jpeg
IMG_7682.jpeg
IMG_7683.jpeg
I purchased these way back when Based on this article.

I only ever used the scope alignment bars (never the lapping tools/paste, etc). And I only used those bars once per set. In other words, it's functionally "new".

"Mr. Kokopelli" was an older gentleman when I spoke to him and his website is no longer working. I hope he is doing well. He made a fine product.

Note that these are 1" and 30MM sets (sorry, no 34mm) They are very heavy as you would expect for a huge steel bar and aluminum bar stock.

$150 per set shipped CoNUS; Both sets for $275

New member seeking help JP LRP-07

Hello all. I was unfortunately fortunate enough to inherit multiple long range / bench rest guns along with reloading equipment etc. In the last 8 months I have familiarized myself with these guns, reloading equipment and long range shooting in general. My question involves two of the guns I have inherited. The first is a DPMS varmint heavy barrel upper in .223, Aero lower that I built with a Daniel Horner timney trigger, the scope is a leupold VX-III 8.5-25. I can put really solid groups together with this rifle. my best group being a 1.5 inch group at 220 yards. so far it has liked almost all the ammo that I have made and put through it. It is just a pleasure to shoot. It is also worth noting that this gun has a junky stock on it right now as i havnt had the time to buy and install a PRS lite which i plan for this gun. The second gun I inherited was a JP Enterprises LRP-07 in .308. This gun has a vortex razor HD 4.5-27 with a Calvin elite trigger that i installed. when I got the gun it had the factory roller trigger. I for the life of me cannot shoot this gun worth a crap with either trigger. I realize that this JP rife is many times better than my DPMS upper however I have trouble getting a 5 shot group to stay within an 8 inch target paper at 220. And even then the groups don't ever show much of a pattern that I could make zero adjustments off of. I have watched many videos about long distance shooting and believe I have an understanding of proper technique. I inherited other bolt guns in .308 and 22-250 which recoil similar if not more than the JP rifle and I shoot those fine. And the previous owner of this JP rifle could stack shots at 220 yards. I have tried many different loads through this rifle from 115 grain all the way up to 170 grain. Before I resort to paying for a professional lesson I was wondering if there is anything this group could offer to me that I might have missed. guns will be pictured, they are the top two. Thanks all for your time!

AI Stock with Tactical Rifles.net Rem 700 rifle .308 win questions

Hey all, haha right around when I ordered my rifle from Tactical Rifles is when all the shit hit the fan with them hahaha or at least when I noticed the shit they were involved with… my rifle shoots really pretty good tho so I must have dodged a bullet. Anyway it’s big and heavy and thinking about selling the action/barrel and/or the AI stock it came in. What is this stock called? I’ve seen some call it The Legacy. It takes the single stack mags.

Any idea what the rifle or even just the stock would be worth? I found one on Tacswap and the fella said it should be 2.5-3k for just the stock. I don’t know about all that but figured I should ask here.

Im looking at the sig cross in .308 and am leaning toward the 20” “STX” anyone have experience with this 20” cross yet? The 400$ extra dollars for 4” over the 16” barrel seems a bit steep. I’m not really interested in the other “upgrades” I’d like the 4” but idk.

Anyway thanks!
