SOLD HCS Douglas RECCE/Mod H 16" Upper

BCM Thermo fit upper
HCS Douglas 16" 5.56 SS RECCE/Mod H barrel.

This barrel is an absolute HAMMER! I just took it out to 900m today. Shoots factory AAC 77 OTM 3/4 MOA. Shot my hand load 75gr .6MOA.

HCS chambered barrels are the best Douglas barrels I've ever shot.

Only selling to find an 18" to get more velocity.

Factory AAC 77gr OTM was 2650. My hand load was 2720.

Only trade would be an 18" Douglas MK12 SPR barrel. HCS preferred.

$450 Shipped.

$350 Shipped for just the barrel.

Suppressors Griffin Armament MGL-11 for Mk13 Mod 5

Howdy friends,

I have a mk13 mod 5 currently being built at RBA. Don't plan on buying an OG KAC can for the prices they're worth. Other option is the GA MGL-11, which is currently out of production, but they said they're doing another run.

Curious to hear from guys who got one of the MGL-11s during the first run. Or just thoughts/opinions from anyone.

I know I'll be able to shoot the gun w/o a can, but where's the fun in that. It'll be close enough to clone correct for my happiness.

Thanks!

More WTF from the Karen Read case and Canton police

While an independent investigation firm has said there was no “conspiracy “ against Read to frame her for her boyfriend’s murder they uncovered some massive incompetence- beyond the evidence tampering- changing witnesses statements and the lead detective and prosecutor being fired for misconduct. Besides those little things they also found

No photos of crime scene/body
The crime scene wasn’t secured until almost 24 hours later

The investigation was botched beyond belief; evidence, witnesses and the entire crime scene was mishandled,"

A quote from the article.

This same Canton PD called the death of Sandra Birchmore a “suicide “ even though the cause of death was ruled as strangulation and someone later admitted to her death. These guys are fucking brilliant.

Opinions on the F.A.S.T chassis

I am new to ELR. I am shooting a 300PRC with a Defiance RUCKUS LA, Bartlein 30" barrel sitting on a Foundation Genesis II Stock. In my most recent match, I saw a number of ELR shooters with a stock integrated with a carbon fiber bipod extender. While I love my Foundation stock (I have two), I am considering switching to a chassis for my ELR gun (for ELR Light). In my research, I see the F.A.S.T chassis by Accuracy Solutions is one option to consider.

I am wondering if anyone has feedback on the F.A.S.T chassis and if there are any other chassis to consider that have the integrated carbon fiber bipod extender.

Rifle Competition Events Somebody is doing something right.

Had a choice of shooting two matches yesterday. The Long Range Challenge at Altus or the LPRC match at Prince Memorial in North Louisiana. Thought it might be a good to spend some time with our son, so I traveled to Florida and shot at Altus.

98 people signed up for the match. 93 competed. It was a very long day, but a good day. The last time I checked the LRPC match had 7 squads available and only one entry slot left. (55 of 56 slots available). And you REALLY have to know how to find Prince which is just west of Pioneer, Louisiana in the Wilds of West Carroll Parish (where some of the nicest people on Earth Live. I used to work there and really love the place. @RobertB is a native of that Parish and can’t say enough good about him)

So, my point, matches seem to be really filling up big time.

Interesting highlight of my day. When the match started, I was cruising along, hitting 50% or more of the targets (which in these days and times is good shooting for this 76 y/o). On one of my favorite props, my hit rate went to 30% and the next two stages, I struggled to hit anything. I was using my practice rifle, which I had been shooting quite well lately. So, I took stock, got permission and went back to my match rifle. Got right back above 50%, again not great for most of you folks, but I even hit some targets prone which getting into that position is really painful. But that’s not what is Intersting,

A fellow competitor’s rifle went down, I mean the bolt actually broke. I asked if he wanted to try my practice rifle even noting that I was struggling with it. Rather than throw the entire match away, he said he would give it a try. On the skill stage, he only scored three, so he took it over to the sight in range, and the scope, which always worried me, seemed to be the problem. This rifle which was perfectly sighted earlier in the morning was now shooting a half mil low which explains my scores. He rel-sighted it and for the next three stages to the finish only dropped a couple of targets. And, he paid me back big time. I misplaced my waxed gamechanger. And dreaded replacing it. He found the members of the squad who had picked it up after I had left it. (Kept it out of the rain they did and were trying to find the owner.) I now have my gamechanger back and a fellow competitor’s match was somewhat rescued

I call that a darned GOOD DAY.

Hello from San Antonio

Retired 12 years ago from the Army and missed certain aspects so I turned to marksmanship. Certainly glad to have found this site. Just shot my first match (3x500) in New Braunfels yesterday to gauge how much I’d like competitive shooting and I’m hooked. I didn’t do too bad and quite frankly way better than I expected. I really liked hanging out with other shooters and learned a lot. Plenty more to learn which is why I’m here.

Judge convicted of attempted murder

I couldn’t find the Original Post for this one , it was discussed when it happened in 2023 - the bit h judge that shot and killed her ex husband, and then shot her boyfriend in the head while he was sleeping .
Still no charges on shooting her ex, that she invited over and then killed but convicted of attempted murder on the boy friend .

Lucky mother fucker to be shot in the head at point blank while sleeping and live , and getting away from that evil bitch .

What 224 bore supressor should I get for a Remington XP-100?

For those unaware of what an XP-100 is, here's a pic. Ignore the red adapter. That was placed on there to allow me to try out my Lahar 30 on it. (Which actually suppressed very well)
This one is in 223. Barrel is 14.5" and less than a #2 contour.

I'm looking for something short, light and possibly still usable on an AR once in a while.

What I don't want to do is spend $1k or more on it.

Any suggestions on something that would fit my use case?

ETA: maybe I'm narrowing my search to much, asking for a 224 can???
