I bought 500 of the Barnes 112 Match Burners and was loading them up the other night. I was seeing some really strange seating depth issues so I busted out the calipers and the gauges and started measuring OAL and BTO on the bullets. I noticed a decent portion (about 1/4) where at least 10 thou off compared to the average on both overall length and base to ogive. Some were as bad as 15 thou. The OAL on all the bullets were not very good in fact.

Is this normal for these? Or could this be a bad batch? With the amount of these I can’t load for matches, it would actually be cheaper to just buy Berger’s

Impact 737 short action, 90* bolt throw and a 20” Proof Research 22 Creedmoor Sendero Light Carbon barrel with around 500 rounds through it. Threaded 5/8-24 and 8 twist. Barrel was chambered by Mark Robles, Radix Precision in Omaha. Shoots really well with 75-85.5 gr bullets, I just don’t hunt a whole lot anymore.

I have to be missing something, lol. Had my mind set on a tikka t3x CTR in 223 for my kids to shoot. Come to find out, they’re no longer available in the US. I’m too OCD to buy used. Looking for something with a heavy barrel as they like to shoot. This will be for target shooting only. I’m afraid the thin barrel of the tikka t3x lite. Will heat up quickly with them shooting it back to back. Looking to stay at $1000 or less. Checked out savage, tikka, bergara. Not sure about the qc on the new REM 700’s. I have a few older ones that rock but, they’re probably 20+ years old. There just not many options with a heavy barrel in that price point. Is there something else out there I should be looking at. Not having much luck.

2. Ran through just the expander ball on forster die lubed inside of neck
3. Debur flash hole
4. Ran .22 cal bronze in drill press to clean necks
5. Chamfer and debur
6. Dry tumble to clean lube and debris off

Ok so my one question is virgin brass and new 20" WOA barrel. Do i carry on with load development while fire forming at the same time or load the brass on the low side then resize for the load development. Just curious on how my work turned out and will listen to any advice.

Does anyone know where I can get the spotting scope filter/cover for the Badger SLICK system on a Leupold mk4 60mm spotter? Badger has had them on back order forever.

I have up for trade a Barrett MRAD in FDE. It currently has the 300prc barrel kit on it with exactly 192 rounds through it. I also have a brand new 300nm barrel kit with zero rounds through it. Have 3 delta mags with it and 2 bravo mags. Atlas PSR bipod and atlas rear monopod. Also will include the Barrett bore guide and the fixit sticks Barrett tool kit. Rifle is a 9.5 out of 10. Can include the Leupold mk5 7-32x56 with the Spuhr mount and diving board for the right trade offer. I am looking for a high end 6mm PRS setup. This rifle is producing .5 MOA groups currently with the 300prc barrel. I can send more pics to serious buyers. Prefer North Carolina trades but will consider out of state transfers.
