Garmin Tactix 7 Amoled, Applied Balistic and SIG Kilo 6

Hi All,

I own an Tactix 7 Amoled with AB elite on it for about 10 months now. I have as well an SIG Kilo 6 Binoculars. I have used these two together for 6-7 month getting the balistic solution (on binoculars) in real time and no issues. In the last month a strange thing is happening. Looks like SIG is sending the distance to the watch, balistic solution is shown on the watch screen, however is not automatically sent to binoculars but i have to press one of the watch. I have reseted the watch and nothing changed. It seems like the watch goes in some sort of “standby” and is only receiving the data.

Be Wary MPT! "Take it Down" act is coming!

Just saw this on Newsmax, sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz. The "Take it down" act to prevent Deep Fake AI images of nude people being published on the Internet when a complaint is filed against that Internet site.

A portion of the act reads as follows:
It shall be unlawful for any person in interstate of foreign commerce to use an interactive computer service to knowingly publish an intimate visual depiction of an identifiable individual who is a minor with intent to - abuse, humiliate, harass or degrade the minor; or around or gratify the $exual desire of any person.

The bill passed unanimously in the Senate. It's awaiting a vote in the House. If signed into law, our MPT rules will have to be modified. Maybe less AI stuff.

Watch out!

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

I have a 16 inch Wilson 1–8 twist barrel that was cut down to 9 inches. Previously I ran 8.1.gr of N110 behind a SMK220 in Starline brass with a CCI small rifle primers. There was about a 0.030” with the bullet. This gave me very good accuracy, ragged, one hole groups at 50 yards with a velocity of 970fps, however, the SD was higher than I wanted at 12–14.

The barrel was recently cut down to 9 inches. I didn’t seem to lose any velocity and the SD remains the same, so I tried charges at 8.3 and 8.4. 8.3 shot much better over the chronograph with a velocity of 1001fps and an SD of 5. However, accuracy sucks. I’m now getting 2 inch groups at 50 yards. I tried messing with the jump to run it between 0.02–0.040” and it didn’t seem to make a difference. I also cleaned the barrel to make sure that there wasn’t debris from the machining.

The torq seems correct on all of the parts, and I am running the action screws at 50 LBS.

Is anyone else hand loading for a similar rifle with subsonic bullets? The idea behind this gun is to push the boundaries with subsonic loads out past 600 yards, so I need my ES to be as tight as possible while delivering sub MOA groups.

Finally happened - some national attention

So finally someone in Washington is asking how it’s possible for all levels of law enforcement continually are to stupid to match addresses and photos .

Jim Jordan demanding an investigation now that the US Marshals - a once professional organization is now so fucki g stupid they kidnapped a old white lady - and kept her in a rape cage for 24 hours - when they were looking for an older black lady .

And in a continuing trend - they brought full violence on an old lady .
I don’t know if this trend across America is because they are scared little boys or because they hate their mothers or if they’ve decided to target the old , especially ladies to show just how much they hate the peons .

6.5 Creedmoor Sig Cross Barrel Upgrade?

So I've been messing around with starline brass, h4350 and staball 6.5, 140gr eldm, cci 250 with a factory barrel on the sig cross 6.5.

My lands are at 2.910 which is way off the mag depth but im content with that. I cant get a mag depth hand load under .7 to save my life.

With hand loads it seems like I cant get better than .5-.7 moa.

I know most will say that's good enough but I want better. I'm trying to use this in 6.5 cm up to 1250 at my range.

what barrel upgrades do you recommend ?
tired of wasting components when I could just upgrade my barrel that isn't picky.
Looking into Carbon 6, Straight jacket armory, proof research.
If anyone has better options from experience please let me know.

Trying to stick with these components because I get discounts and have an abundance of them.

December weather advisory for the Southeast/Midsouth. Elevated risk for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.

Parts of Virginia and North Carolina are currently under a severe thunderstorm watch as a major multi-part winter storm system formed as a result of a receeding early season polar front from earlier this month colliding with still warm and wet airmasses coming up from the Gulf is bringing snow to the northeast and bands of severe thunderstorms in the Midsouth, with elevated risk for supercells maturing after dark.

Historically, December has seen a major elevated risk for 'maxed out conditions' occurring on the southeastern dry line between polar air masses from the north and warm Gulf tropical inflow along with high altitude shear that continue to feed supercell systems into maturity well after daylight hours. Two of the most costliest and longest track tornadoes in US history, the Mayfield and Rolling Fork F4/F5s, occurred in December. Residents of the Southeast and Midsouth are advised during this time of year to keep track of weather updates and livestreams of storm chasers in the region who operate mobile Dopplar radars.
