Do you run a SunShade and why or why not? Got into a conversation a couple of weeks ago about running a sunshade. One shooter implied that he never ran a sunshade and thought he could see mirage better without it. Got me wondering why and when we should be running a sunshade. I have been running mine all the time but might try some on vs off comparisons to provide the need or lack there of.

Just curious what KYL targets you are using and how well do you like them? Trying to find something that I can put in my truck and take out to the desert and setup easily to do some shooting. While I enjoy range days we have a lot of BLM land around here to use.

Been thinking about trading my bought this year Mission Sub1 XR crossbow (camo version) for a good spotting scope or a spotter and laser rangefinder.
It's got 56 shots on the limbs. First 12 with the stock bolts and the rest with heavier aftermarket. Shot out to 60 yrds... stupid accurate. Been sitting in the soft cast for a few months now. Bought the silent crank but still haven't used it.

I have tons of 5.56 brass de-primed and cleaned and annealed but not resized yet. It all comes from stuff I have shot and my friends and shot and stuff that me being a "loot goblin" has picked up over the years at the range. I have 7K or so brass in reserve.

My question is about resizing. I don't really care about brass life as much as I do for my precision guns but measuring an AR chamber seems to be harder then removing the firing pin and extractor and checking bolt lift like I do with my bolt rifles. The only metric I can see anything concrete on is fired brass size and the go/no go gauge. It is worth it to set a FL sizing die to be .003 smaller then the go gauge or something subtracted from the no go gauge for a length?

I'm looking for a set it and forget it sizing die setup for my XL750 tool head with the bullet feeder for bulk reloading.

Do must people just not really worry about it and i am overthinking it?

I have a Grayboe Ridgeback long action stock for sale. This was originally on a Bergara Premier action so it will fit all Rem700 footprint actions.

I won’t lie, this stock is a little rough around the edges and is priced accordingly. It has been painted, stripped and repainted several times. It was also devcon bedded - this will likely need to be removed and redone for your particular action. It is 100% functional though. Willing to provide additional pictures upon request. Running a 16"1:8 twist barrel pistol length gas system in a AR platform. Have 130 to 168gr bullets to load for subsonics. With imr 4227, imr 4198, cfe blk and h110. Is this a good starting point with my powders i have. From what i have read it should be. I will work a load from high to low to find the sweet spot. I have adj gas block, springs, buffers and low mass bcg to play with if needed. Looking to see if any 300 blkout experts have loaded this way with good success.
