Female USCG officer got two divers chopped up, IMO willfully, 1980s.

Years ago when I was first working as a marine mechanic, I worked for a shop where the owners were close friends with a commercial diving business on the West Coast. The diving company was located in Sausalito, CA, which is just across the water from San Francisco.

The dive business was on a job in San Fran, cleaning the hull of a large boat or small ship. Two guys were underwater, and the owner of the company was topside keeping an eye things. An aggressive female from the USCG came aboard and told the crew to put the engines in forward. However there were signs posted all over the helm to not put the engines in gear, as there were divers working underwater. The engines may have been running to keep them warmed up.

Remember when you were young, and a supervisor or authority figure could tell you to do something that did not sound right. However, being inexperienced, you complied?

Well the bitch told a crew member to put the controls in gear, he strongly protested, but eventually did what the authority figure told him to do. The owner of the dive business felt the boat move, and he sprinted back to the helm and yanked the levers to neutral. Next he ran to the stern, and the water was full of blood. Both divers were sucked into the propellers, and cut to pieces. The divers were both friends and coworkers of his.

The USCG quickly sent attorneys to the spouses of the divers, apologized profusely I expect, and told them if the sign this agreement to keep their mouth shut, they would be given xx amount of money. The .gov was quick, to keep the story out of the press. Now I do not know if the USCG officer was a dyke or not, but judging by her actions she was a full on man hater. She knew that the divers would be killed, but this was her chance to get away with murder.

This would of been before 1990 when I worked for the yacht repair business. In current times they would most likely not be able to sweep the deaths under the rug. But back then, they did.

Accessories NEW Surefire SOCOM muzzle brakes 3/4x24

I ordered the wrong brakes for my barrels/suppressor. I have a Surefire SOCOM 300 SPS suppressor and all my bolt gun muzzles are threaded 3/4x24. The brakes are threaded 3/4x24 but will NOT fit inside the suppressor. I spoke with Surefire and they said that their standard for .30 cal is 5/8x24; They do not support a 3/4x24 thread on their .30 cal muzzle brakes. I don't want to start adding adapters to the end of my barrels just to make this can work. I have other cans that I'll use instead. Both brakes are new in packaging and the company I ordered them from 4 months ago will not allow returns (Stamp just approved 4 days ago.) Price is $150.00 per brake and I'll cover shipping to US addresses only. No AK, HI. Payment can be through electronic payments (NOT paypal), cashier's check, Money order. Information cross reference is SKU : SFMB3383424, UPC: 084871324175

US Army screwing up , yet again , DEI ??? .

Seems base Ft. Moore ( formerly Ft. Benning ) has additional problems ,can't help wonder who the commandant of that toilet is or was ? .

Seems another of Biden's lackadaisical administrations and their band of border terrorist are lifting armament !. Can only imagine why media failed to report this incident ,as they're probably still hoping assassins are running lose in the dark !. They ought to be careful for what they wish for !!!.

With 31 pistols still missing, the Army offers $15,000 for details

Army investigators are offering a $15,000 reward for information on the theft of dozens of pistols, night vision goggles and a thermal optic that have been missing from Fort Moore, Georgia, since earlier this year.

The Hill Floats AOC as Potential 2028 Presidential Candidate.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez speaks at a rally endorsing Jamaal Bowman at St. Mary's Park

The Hill on Friday floated Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as a potential contender for the 2028 Democrat Presidential nomination.
Amie Parnes, a senior congressional correspondent for The Hill, included Ocasio-Cortez as the last name on a list of seven Democrats who could be contenders for the nomination in 2024.
One Democrat strategist, speaking anonymously, told the outlet that Ocasio-Cortez can “cut through the BS and tell it like it is,” adding she “doesn’t talk like Washington.”
However, Ocasio-Coretz’s very progressive record could hinder her odds if she does run, according to some Democrats.
“She and the ‘squad’ started pushing too hard, too fast,” another strategist told the Hill. “D.C. doesn’t work that way. And our party doesn’t work that way. We need to get back to the basics.”
Ocasio-Cortez represents a deeply progressive faction of the party, as the strategist pointed out, and Vice President Kamala Harris, the most progressive and radical presidential nominee in history, notably lost the election to President-elect Donald Trump earlier this month in a landslide.
Many, including some Democrat strategists, are pointing to the left’s radical progressive policies as factors behind the loss.
Democrat Strategist Julie Roginsky told CNN’s Newsroom days after the election that Democrats have trouble communicating with “normal people.” She pointed to the left’s use of the term “Latinx,” which was created to describe Latinos and Latinas without assigning sex, as one example:
You know, I’m going to speak some hard truths to my friends in the Democratic Party. This is not Joe Biden’s fault. It’s not Kamala Harris fault. It’s not Barack Obama’s fault. It is the fault of the Democratic Party in not knowing how to communicate effectively to voters. We are not the party of common sense, which is the message that voters sent to us. For a number of reasons, for a number of reasons, we don’t know how to speak to voters. When we address Latinos — and language, and language has meaning — we address Latino voters as Latinx, for instance, because that’s the politically correct thing to do, it makes them think that we don’t even live on the same planet as they do. When we are too afraid to say that, ‘Hey, college kids, if you’re trashing a campus of Columbia University because you aren’t happy about some sort of policy and you’re taking over a university and you’re trashing it and preventing other students from learning that that is unacceptable.’ But we’re so worried about alienating one or another cohort in our coalition that we don’t know what to say when normal people look at that and say, ‘Wait a second, I send my kids to college so they can learn, not so they can burn buildings and trash lawns.’
After Harris’s loss, Ocasio-Cortez took a different route and pointed to “misogyny” among voters as one potential factor behind Harris’s loss.
“This race may not have been decided by any one individual factor, but misogyny is very, very real in this country,” Ocasio-Cortez said during a November 6 live stream obtained by the Daily Caller.
“As another widely known woman of color in office, you know, I knew that sexism and racism were real, but it was not until I got subjected to a national stage that I actually was shocked at how bad it is,” she added.
Along with Ocasio-Cortez, Parnes tabbed Harris, Govs. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), JB Pritzker (D-IL), Josh Shapiro (D-PA), Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), and outgoing Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as possible 2028 Democrat candidates.

What an absolute clown show!

It wasn't the first or second shot, but it was the last

My son had an interesting adventure over the weekend mule deer hunting. He broke the trigger guard and trigger while shooting at a mule deer (recoil slammed trigger guard into a rock he was laying over). What was fortunate for him , is that the gun still functioned after the damage shown, and he was able to put the finishing shot on a mule deer at 700 yards with the rifle. (Buddy was not hunting nor did he have a rifle).

It's not huge, but it will eat good, and any more, any deer in this State is a good deer (communist mismanaged state of WA). Department of No Fish and Wildlife, but I digress.

7mm Remington Magnum factory VSSF 162 Amax 71.4 grains Retumbo Fed 215.

It is the most tender liver I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a few in 50 + yrs of hunting.

Surprisingly, there was quite a bit of hydraulic damage, even at distance. I'll have to look at the ballistic program and see what the impact velocity was.
