Reloading Equipment 6mm Machined Tube for Mr Bulletfeeder

Like many of you that load precision on a Dillion 750 and run a bulletfeeder, there was no good option for 6mm bullets. The 6.5 tube that comes with it is oversized and sometimes the rounds would jam in the tube, making you stop and take the whole thing apart to clean it. I got tired of this so started looking for a solution. After realizing there was zero plastic (polycarb, acrylic, ect) tube stock on the market that would drop in, I contacted a machine shop. They ordered some special tubing and chopped it down. Turns out that didn't work. So they ended up ordering Polycarb tube and machining it down to my specs. Now you can feed 6mm bullets without issue and save time and aggravation.

Finding lands with a zermatt action

Like the title states….

I have previously used a fired case, slightly sized down the neck, inserted a bullet in long, closed bolt on the round and let the bullet slide back into the case. Then measure CBTO, and start with the bullet backed off another 15-20 thousandths from the lands. Then verify the bullet is off the lands by closing the bolt and making sure the bolt closes with no resistance.

With the zermatt (origin), there is a gas block and spacer between the bolt body. This always makes bolt close have some level of resistance. Would it make sense to remove the gas block and spacer, so that the bolt drops freely so that I can verify the bullet isn’t touching the lands? (I also remove cocking piece and firing pin)

I’ve always done this with one piece bolts, never a floating bolt head.

Thanks in advance.

Optics **PRICE DROP on EVERYTHING** Athlon Optics Sell off

Turns out my original prices were a tad high. Price drop

I purchased all of these when Athlon was the new kid in the scene. We all "had a buddy that was a dealer" and got some good deals. Well, I've decided to liquidate my spare scope inventory to free up some cash.

ALL THESE ARE GEN 1 OPTICS
Argos and Talos have nylon shims for setting the zero stop. The rest have zero stops.

Prices include shipping so keep that in mind when you message me 😉. PayPal, Venmo, USPS money order, cash are all acceptable forms of payment. If using digital pay no notes please.

How about we have a thread about the "paranormal"?

Before I get into the introductions- a bit of "housekeeping" on the topic. The subject of "paranormal" might elicit images of folks wearing tinfoil hats but at the root/etymology of the term- all that the term "paranormal" means (academically at least) is topics that are beyond scientific explanation. Nothing more & nothing less, it's just subjects/topics/experiences that aren't (yet) able to be explained.

That being said now- I suppose I've always had an interest in the 'paranormal' but almost always from a curiosity point of view rather than from personal experiences. The closest I can relate to would be frequent deja vu experiences. But this topic has always been of interest to me-

I've started posts here asking for ghost stories. Not necessarily because I personally believe in ghosts but more so because I'm enthralled with the history behind those stories. Reckon that growing up just outside of Gettysburg helped to form that curiosity. I used to be a voracious reader, reading all sorts of published stories about ghosts & pirates (among other topics).

I'm not sure I believe 'ghosts' exist intellectually but I still find those stories fascinating, I also love the supposed video footage "proving" shadow figures/whatever exist in certain structures/locations. Again, it's primarily because I find the history/story as the explanation as being of the most interest to me personally.

One element of the paranormal though that I do permit myself some leeway in being more openminded is when it comes to space, time, extraterrestrials, things of that nature. I'd like to think that there's an intellectual element to my belief in being open minded on the subjects but that's just me (and open for argument).

BUT- on the topic, it's said that there's more stars in the sky than grains of sand on Earth. So, in my minds eye, it would be more than plausible to believe that each of those stars a multitude of planets in their orbit/solar system. And each of those planets likely has moons. The vastness of this rabbit hole is just mind boggling for a simpleton such as myself. But the numbers are just... astronomical and to believe that life exists ONLY here... on Earth alone, in our solar system, I just can't help but find that mathematically implausible.

I'd also argue that being open to the belief of "aliens" from the perspective previously mentioned is not the same as believing that little green men keep visiting earth and are abducting humans & colluding with local governments who are covering up their involvement for decades. All I'm offering is the belief that (in my mind) mathematically there HAS to be multicellular organisms inhabiting the galaxy/universe. On the subject- I've also always considered our 'table of elements' which shapes science as we know it and wondered if the same elements/rules would exist on other planets/moons/solar systems (I lean towards there being a high probability where it doesn't/ even our understanding of life being carbon based may be changed with the gravitational influences in other solar systems.

Enough rambling from me now- anyone else think about/have an opinion on the paranormal?

Stock Market

Im feeling optimistic.

My thoughts are that the market has needed a correction.

Id rather see a correction related to unrelated fears rather than to some sort of actual economic issue.

Granted fears of Corona virus are creating actual market problems in supply chains and purchase orders but Im thinking once Corona virus is revealed as a nothing burger shit is going to spin up very fast.

Co workers laments about his 401K got me thinking about this.

Who cares?

Unless people start dropping dead in the streets or if he decides to retire tomorrow nothing to see and good opportunities

SOLD Kuiu Pro XL Bino Harness XL w/ Range Finder & Phone Pouches

I’m selling a gently used Kuiu Pro XL Bino Harness in Verde.
This is the old Pro version. It is not the new Pro G3.

Purchase includes everything pictured- main harness, height adjustment pads, cell phone pouch and rangefinder pouch.
I purchased this new a year ago and it has seen limited use on 2 hunts. I paid over $200 for it new with everything.
It is in good condition as pictured.
I am not looking to sell pieces separately, it is as package offer only.
I am including the QD tether straps that attach to the bino and harness, but they aren’t in my pictures.
There is only very slight wear on the back strap that I tried to capture in photos.
The slight wear is cosmetic only and does not affect function.
I am only selling because I don't use it and I want to fund other interests.

SOLD
First to PM and post will own it.
PayPal F&F or Venmo only.
