I over tightened my calypso and broke the bottom off. They’re willing to fix if I send it to Spain but have a match coming up and would rather just fix at home. Has this happened to anyone else? Looking for solutions, not trash talk.

Was just thinking to fill with hot glue and let it cure. Let me know any thoughts or ideas.

So who is able to do it correctly? My local trustworthy smiths can do it, but don't have the correct specs and would need a diagram/specs. Any suggestions for smiths or correct diagrams?

I’m trying to squeeze a little more accuracy out of my Wilderness HMR. I still get an occasional flier on my 5 shot groups so I am bedding the recoil lug. I am using standard, two part JB Weld epoxy and Imperial sizing wax as a releasing agent.

If anyone has done a recoil lug bed job, can you look at photo and tell if I applied enough two part epoxy? I tried to keep it on the walls of the recoil lug recess.

I finally picked up a 2017 AX308.
I have always had traditional stocks and although I'm learning the chassis and pistol grip, and getting more comfortable each time out.

Does anyone have any recommendations to improve the grip feel?
How have you modified the stock pistol grip?

Hello all, I shoot a good bit of multigun and carbine competition. I haven't been super satisfied with with the lpvo options on the market. Currently I'm running the razor 1-10. And I have the atacr as well.
Awesome optics, but I never use 1x at all in comps and for higher power requirements, I find myself wanting better.
My question is, how do you like the zco 2-10? I dont mind spending the money if it's something I love. Let me know your experiences on it. Thanks.

I’m no Geissele fan boy but I’m impressed. So after @Bigjake83 posted about his success with the 14.5” Heavy Geissele barrels I reluctantly took a chance one one of the 16” barrels.

The build consisted of the following:

I got it together and took it out for function testing with and without a suppressor and it ran 100% using AAC 77gr OTM ammo. The extended gas length gives a smooth recoil impulse. It shot tiny groups but I didn’t get too excited. I didn’t even bother to measure them.

A few weeks passed and I figured I’d put it on paper for record. All groups shot at 100 yards. Same lot of AAC 77gr OTM. All suppressed through a Surefire 7.62 Socom Mini. 3:00 ejection pattern if that matters to you. Four 5 round groups and 1 ten round group. These were shot back to back with no cool down between groups.

Y’all check my math but that should figure up to .7128 MOA across the 5 groups.

Not bad for a cheapish build shooting $9.99 a box ammo. I’ll see how it does at range with better ammo when I get the chance.
