Firearms WTS Custom 300 PRC

Selling my custom 300 PRC - $3k buyer pays shipping (or willing to meet within 3 hours of KC).

Barrel has about 700 rounds on it and is cleaned very regularly. About every 50 rounds.
I have dope out to 2911 yards (starting at 200y - 2100y and then to 2911) that I will be happy to provide.
I will also be happy to provide load data for Berger 245's and Hornady 250gr A-Tips.

I recently won a local ELR match with this rifle (King of KC). The rifle started to perform extremely well at long distance (2k+ yards) once I switched to 245gr Bergers from the 250gr A-Tip. Unfortunately for me, that was at the tail end of my ELR season. First round impacts at 1900 and 2100 yards in the last match I shot and somewhere between 20-30% hit ratio at 2911 in the couple matches prior to that. Probably higher if I was better at reading wind.

Current load has the 245gr Berger LRHT coming out at 2805fps average with an SD around 7-8. This load could likely be pushed further as I have encountered 0 pressure signs at this point but it works really well so I haven't bothered. Papers about .6 MOA with a 5 shot group from a cleaned and fouled barrel. It should be noted, this is with the suppressor on (SilencerCo Hybrid 46). If you intend to shoot this unsuppressed, you will need to verify/tune the load.

MPA BA Chassis (Tungsten)
Zermatt Origin Long Action
28" 1:8 right twist barrel, chambered by Straight Jacket Armory (4/15/24), cerakoted black to match action.
Trigger Tech Diamond 2 Stage
ERATAC 0-20 adjustable scope mount with 34mm rings (non-qd)
Accu-Tac HD-50 bipod (arca)
SilencerCo ASR muzzle break
Magpul PMAG 5 AC L magazine

I'd let go of all of the brass, bullets, dies with it for an additional $300. I'd also be willing to sell the following separate from the rifle for a slightly higher cost.
If you're local and interested in this stuff, I'll throw in like half a lb of Retumbo I have left and some Remington magnum primers.
220ish 250gr Hornady A-Tips
50ish 225gr Hornady ELD-M
120ish 215gr Berger Hybrid
60ish 245gr Berger LRHT

300ish pieces of Hornady brass
46 pieces of ADG brass

Hornady match sizing die (with bushing) and seating die

I don't really want to sell the glass as that's going on my PRS rifle but if you insist on taking it as a whole package, I'd do an additional $1k on the nose for the Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2. In it's current configuration, the scope mount stays at 10mil which gives me 30mil of dialable in the scope with a 100 yard zero. You can then add the remaining 10mil of elevation in the mount for a total of 40mil of elevation before needing to hold over.

I would most likely continue ELR next season except my son wanted to start shooting PRS with me and I do not have the time/money to support 2 shooters in PRS and continue with ELR. I may be interested in production class 6gt bolt action rifles (eg GA PPR) as trade options, nothing custom though as I am looking to switch to production class in PRS next season.

Suppressors Abel Theorem, Theorem-S, Abel Biscuit, or TBAC Magnus K

I’m about to give up on getting a TBAC Magnus K RR, can’t find one anywhere. So, leaning towards an Abel Theorem or Theorem-S, possibly the Abel Biscuit. Looking for recommendations on the Theorem vs. Theorem S. Is it worth it to wait for the TBAC?

Suppressor will go on my MPA Matrix Pro, 6.6cm. I shoot mostly recreationally but will be shooting some PRS also.

WTB ISO Short Action Customs Alpha Dasher Sizing Die

Like the title states, looking for a SAC Alpha Dasher sizer. New, used is fine too..
Lemme know if you have one ot if you know where to get one. SAC says about a month or more lead time as of right now. I bought a dasher barrel with alpha reamer specs and totally forgot to order the die set a while back, so I'm pretty f-ed once my brass is fireformed.

Thanks

Firearms 300 WSM origin/Proof/manners

I put this together to go on an elk hunt then needed a bit of emergency spinal surgery. I won't be using anytime soon. Zermatt Origin action, proof carbon fiber barrel 24, was altered from a tl3 to fit origin. Manners EH1 carbon fiber stock, triggertech diamond flat, hawkins bottom metal, with accurate mag. I can sell with or without leupold mark 5 TMR reticle with Arc rings. As it sits with scope and 4 rounds without bipod is 9.6 pounds (bathroom scale). Rifle only 3k, rifle with scope/rings/bipod 4700. Roughly 200 rounds on rifle. Questions please ask no trades. Comes with 30 rounds nosler loaded ammo 10 cases, 142 federal brass and Forrester dies. I can swap to a manners LRH stock for 200 more if you prefer that stock.

SOLD Sold

This item is brand new, it's never left my house, I never attached anything to it. Absolutely brand new bought from Scheels during the spring time. I have too many tripods (5 and a 6th on the way), I have to sell some. This is the Fatboy tripod 2 section inverted legs. It will be shipped in the box it came in, scheels did not ship this in an outer box (if I can get one I will). It has a very well padded thick bag it comes in.

SOLD SOLD

Aimpoint T2 in excellent condition (really this is in like new condition), MOUNT IS GONE and is not included...again the scalar works mount is not included. See pic of bottom, just one pinpoint mark in the undersurface where the mount mated, barely noticeable but I mention everything for full disclosure.

I mounted this red dot and NEVER shot it.... ever. It sat on one of my ARs which I really don't shoot b/c bolt guns are better ... I'm the original owner and bought it in 2023 so it's still under 10yr warranty. Original boxes and packaging included as shown. I can ship it as is, or disassemble it.
Cross listed on AR15.c0m

First shot barrel oiled or dry ?

At the range prior to my Tikka .223’s first shot, I’ve been removing the oil leftover from barrel cleaning. But I’ve been reading about how leaving this oil in the barrel may help prevent copper buildup from the first few shots, and that some shooters will run a patch with traces of graphite down the barrel prior to shooting in order to also prevent coppering. Has anybody observed increased copper buildup or long tern issues from a dry barrel as oppossed to an oiled one or one with a trace of graphite for the first few shots? Thanks

New from MK Machining - Hide Exclusive

Hey Guys,

We have mentioned and shown off pictures in the past of our Integrated ARD scope caps, or what we are calling iARD's. Well, that is finally coming to fruition soon, and I'm giving you lovely folks on Snipers Hide a few weeks early access before these get announced on all the other platforms. We only have a couple brands live on the website currently, but inventory is essentially ready to rock for all the models of scopes that we currently have standard caps for. Current brands are NF, Zeiss, ZCO, and some Vortex coming shortly. If you want to try these out and don't see the brand/model you want, reach out to [email protected], and Darlene can help you out.

We don't ever release something and immediately discount it with a sale, but Snipers Hide members get 10% off every MKM and Audere brand product on our website with coupon code SH10.

Pin and weld suppressor?

I have an idea bouncing around in my head and wanted to get a few opinions.

My favorite rig is based on a 12.5" Criterion Hybrid barrel. Next to my "precision" rig, it's my most accurate setup. It almost seems like it goes on autopilot everytime I squeeze the trigger.

Anyway, I've never been wild about shooting suppressed, but last weekend, I got to shoot a rig with a Cobalt Kinetics suppressor on it and now, I can't get it out of my head.

What I want to do is get the direct thread model (it has an extra baffle in it), which is made of titanium and pin and weld it to my 12.5 to make 16".

Is this a mistake? When I shoot the barrel out, how ugly is it going to be removing the suppressor to put it on another barrel? I've pinned, welded and removed a lot of muzzle devices, but never a suppressor.
