Likely moving to Heber City UT and was surprised to see that the closest long distance range was 1.5 hours away in Perry.

Also noticed that the only PRS matches are North Utah and Central Utah - both about 2-3 hours away from Heber.

For those familiar with the area, is there any long distance shooting or matches closer than that? Or is there at least BLM land that’s safe to put out a target 500-1000yds where there’s not people shooting around you?

This is a discontinued/rare model that was designed for the Noveske Shooting Team. The new "C" model has a different clamp.

Lightly used, but other than the mounting marks (see photo) is in as near to flawless condition as you can get.

Dropped at shot without much fanfare, but I think this scope is worthy of discussion.

Built a new DMRish rifle that is waiting for this. I have one ordered via Cameraland & according to GPO these will be shipping in the next 2 weeks.

Checks a lot of boxes for me. Pretty high hopes for this one.

I really wanted to run the Tier 1, but it'd be a $350 gamble as to whether or not it fit. Available max supposedly is 4.3" & the Tier 1 is 4.291"

Reticle is pretty basic mil based.




What I was told by GPO is that this scopes Glass is German & all parts are sourced from the German HQ, but it's likley not every component is German.
Parts are QC'd in Germany and sent to Japan for assembly. The scopes are then returned to Germany for final QC & then shipped from there.

This is a reasonably priced scope that I'll gladly pay + $100 over an Athlon for. I also like TMR reticles so the basic mil hash is fine with me. Sometimes simpler is better. I've currently got XTR 3 (Both US and Philippines), Leupold MK5 HD, & Steiner T6Xi all 18x on AR's to compare. All are more expensive scopes with + 2 on the top end. I don't expect this to be their equal, but if it's functional I think it'll be a great option. I don't typically dial to min power anyway & if I need close I'll through a dot or irons on it to supliment the bottom end.

Afterw a few matches, Im realizing how important it is to have the ability to cant your rifle for long range stages. My Accutac FD-4 is amazing, but when I try and leave just enough tension so that I can get level, it starts “self” loosening to the point of my rifle flopping about. The only two options are either cant locked out or completely loose. There has to be a way to get the tension to stay put on this thing. Anyone know of a solution out face this issue?

So, with imi, pmc x tac, lake city m855, will all of them hold the same zero as m855 ammo with a trijicon acog or will the zero differ between brands even though its all m855 ammo?

Overall, Very good condition! Sent scope in for removal of debris (internal grease splatter) in 2021 and install of the DTII+ Elevation turret, which also included thorough cleaning and inspection. P3L reticle is excellent for hunting, only center crosshair illuminates. Attached reticle pics are @ 5x and 18x. Elevation turret is CW. 34mm tube no ring marks. Weight of scope is 34.4 ounces. Excellent USA customer service located in Winchester Virginia should it be needed.

I am looking to try my hand at some PRS matches here at home in Missouri.
Now I will say I am not like some that have a large budget for it, and am also not one to think that I will ever be some title contender.
I'm wanting to get involved to learn and have some fun..and thats it.

So in doing some looking at what I have rifle wise I like the idea of the Gas gun division, I have an AR lower sitting around that I have planned for a while to do a 6mm Arc upper for.
How would the 6 Arc do in this type of shooting?

What is the consensus barrel profile that will get us po' non-Samson Foundation owners to "best" balance?

I have a Centurion with full brass internal weights + L3i Dina and currently run a Benchmark MTU+ 28inch, but feel I can't load into my Schmedium without it feeling a tad nose heavy and wanting to dip down. Looking for a better NPA.

Looking at CRB and want to hear 26 vs 28 and CRB comp vs 1.25 straight (strictly as it relates to balance for PRS and positional)

Also, what's the consensus for number of extra impacts I'll get if I cerakote?
