I am looking to purchase a couple more suppressors and I am considering the purchase of the 1.375” hub mount versions. If given the option, which hub/muzzle brake interface do you recommend. I will be using them on a large frame AR, small frame AR and potentially a bolt action.

I see the silencerco, griffin and deadair systems but I am not sure what else is out there.

Any recommendations?

Just woke up to a weather alert, looks like another flood event in texas , over 8 inches of rain has fallen in the last 4 hrs , lake buchanan is still 5ft below the spillway but that might change before the day is over , that 8 inches is at bend about 10 miles above lake buchanan , hope the weekend campers along the river evacuate in time cause this could end up like kerrville all over again, pray for texas we need it , lord help us.

just posting this here because there was no prior knowledge on the forum:


I purchased a Cabela's CX pro spotter 20-60x86 due to the very clear glass (Better than the Vortex viper spotters).

It has the same lockup for the eyepiece as the Viper spotter, so I purchased the viper MRAD reticle from vortex with intent to use it together.



It is compatible, but unfortunately the scale of the reticle is off by ~15%, making it not very usable.

Great spotting scope if you aren't in need of a reticle, but functionally useless for this purpose. (especially if you work at Cabela's and get an employee discount as I do)

I have two nikon products that I need service for , what are my options, I know nikon has stopped making rifle scopes but does that mean no service on older products, one is a 6x20 monarch fine cross hair target scope that the cross hair has rotated or come loose , the other is binocular 10x50 monarch that needs new eye cups, both these items are over 12 years old bought the scope used ,but did get the original box so it might be older than 12 yrs, not having any luck with Google search. TIA.

I've been using the app for several years, and don't really want to find a new one, but it will probably disappear off of the app store.

I would imagine it is being used by the Ukranians also.......

2) Nomadic Research Raid Pack in Black ($215 shipped) A little unknown of a brand, this is an excellent “do all” low vis pack but is a little much for my new office gig. It works equally well in the field or office and has features like a tuckable/hideaway waist belt (like some of the Mystery Ranch packs). It includes all accessories to include their “weapons sleeve” (for a computer or folded SBR), packing cubes (made to fit the pack exactly) as well as an admin module for pens and small items.
