For those that are paying attention, a few products are being sold right now are knock off Nightforce products and way too generous of prices. LPVO’s came first and now the Rap-i mounts with “mil-spec” and fake cage codes on them. Buyers beware, if it sounds too good, it is.

I saw some dipshit try flipping one of these on eBay for $800 because “milspec”.

I am selling my refurbed Knights Armament Company PVS30 since I primarily use thermal.
It has been a great unit, killed many hogs and coyotes, and has been treated well.

So I've been a cheating lil bitch and shooting 6GT braked and suppressed in a 25 lb race gun.

Today I took my backup rifle in 6.5 Creed--basically a Howa + KRG Bravo--super light more of a hunting rifle and I REALLY had to grip that SOB to get it to shoot well. I know some PRS and F-Class guys do free recoil, and I can see that with these light cartridges. 6.5 Creed is hardly a magnum but I saw a HUGE difference today . So how is free recoil working on this "big" cartridges like a 6.5 PRC and 284 Win. It seems so counter intuitive to what I just experienced. Is it really the rifle weight having that much of an impact?

Otherwise, got some fundamentals practice in and a new load. (Good practice for stepping up to magnums--can't hide from recoil)..took me a bit and I forgot how loud an unsupressed rifle is.

Maybe I'm totally OCD, but it seems like I screw the pooch all the time on reloading. Can't quite get my shoulder bump right. Load too long, get pressure signs, just generally always fucking up (stoopid locking rings from the other night).

I'll watch videos and people get their .002 bump and I've never gotten that, and I can't even keep it consistent for some reason. I set it and then some are okay, some are not.

My 6GT is so damn short that even at 2.500 is was jammed into the lands and causing pressure spikes with 33.5 Grains of varget.

Maybe I'm just bitching out loud after a hard week in the reloading room, but it seems like I'm the only one who ever screws up. Example: ruined a perfectly good piece of brass by accidently smacking it off center into a mandrel.

Anyone else feel that or is everyone a smooth reloader and I should take up knitting?
