I’m using a Caldwell Rock front bench rest and a rear bag. My vertical is great, I can constantly see the reticle swaying horizontally. I’ve tried different grip pressure, adjusting my rear bag, getting lined up, etc. Still can’t get to where I’d like to be.

All tips appreciated.

Im 41, served 4years and am recreational shooter since 20yrs, hunter since 15yrs.

Currently i use a R700 5r in a McMillan HTG with a PM2 as my daily Rifle. Aimpoint for driven hunts.

Have a safe full of break actions for hiking and enjoy Handguns up to 100yds.

Love to tap the wisdom here for unusual stuff not found here in germany.

We can have SBRs without trouble and supressors are also no problem.
Curtently a R700 PCR SBR in .223 10.5 for foxs and as a truck gun.

Up for grabs is a beautiful condition Ruger M77 Mark II in .243 win 1/9 twist. I recently took this on trade but ended up with a .243 remage barrel for a custom build I'm going to play around with instead, I don't want or need two .243's so I'm putting this one up for sale. I have not personally shot this rifle. Rifle overall is excellent and appears to have a very low round count. Some very minor impressions in the wood stock but no major dings/dents. Metal is near perfect. Trigger is nice and light and breaks very clean. Just a really nice rifle all around. Asking $999 shipped individual to FFL. Been thinking of doing a 204 Ruger since my buddies started smacking prairie dogs a year or two ago. Thought it to complete an upper and use it for chucks, p dogs, even rabbits with a thermal.

What do you think - worth it or not? I have a bunch of 5.56 rifles, Grendels, ARCs, and Creedmoors.

I just got a Ruger Gunsite in 450 Bushmaster which has a 11/16-25 threaded muzzle. All of my suppressors have a 5/8-24 thread. I am thinking about getting a 11/16 to 5/8 adaptor but am concerned about suppressor alignment. An adaptor would cost $25. Alternatively, if I would get a mount that threads directly to the 1.375-24 threads of the suppressor body (i.e. a PLAN-A Taper mount adaptor for my Griffin Bushwacker 46 suppressor), it will be $85 and I will only be able to use that suppressor on my rifle. I know that alignment will be better and am leaning that way, but just want to get some opinions on the 5/8 to 11/16 thread adaptor option.

I just purchase a Ruger Gunsite in 450 Bushmaster for hunting deer in OH. Intend to shoot mostly subsonic rounds though it. The scope I will use for it gives me 15 mil up w/ a 0 moa base. This will let me get out to 400 yards. W/ a 20 MOA base I can get out to 500 yards. I don't think that the round will be effective (even for steel never mind deer) past 400 yards. Any downside in getting the 20 MOA base? expect most shots to be at 200 yards or so where elevation would be 4.6 mils.
