SIG Rattler 300 blackout suppressor recommendations

I'm looking for a suppressor for a Sig Rattler 5.5 length. I was going to get a trash panda but it's a little long in the tooth, thought there might be some better options. I'm not a big suppressor guy but I do ( like most) want the quietest & shortest available.
During my dive, I see where Cat is going to have a CAT/Rat available in 25 but not sure I want to wait for that.
My short list is CAT OBD , HUXWRX 762 TI, Velos 762, Other options like the CGS Hyperion are quieter but longer than I'd like.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Magazines for LA Weatherby 6.5 PRC in MDT XRS or LSS-XL

I reached out to MDT, but haven't heard back from them yet, maybe it's holiday weekend, so I'm turning to the collective minds here

I have a factory Weatherby Vanguard Long Action in 6.5 PRC (I won it in a Weatherby contest!). Thinking of dropping it into an MDT XRS, or maybe LSS-XL chassis. If anyone has those Howa long action chassis, do the use the double stack/single feed mags DSSF, or single stack, single feed mags SSSF?

MDT website says Howa/Vanguard chassis work only with poly mags, but they don't specifically say for SA and LA. But I know their statement is not entirely true. I have a Weatherby 6.5CM in a MDT short action LSS-XL chassis and I notched out the front of DSSF metal mags so they seat fully in the well, and they feed fine.

Thx

Mike Davis to Letitia James: ‘We Will Put Your Fat Ass in Prison’ if You Continue Weaponizing the Law Against Trump!

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES - 2024/11/06: Attorney General Letitia James speaks during the pre

Prominent conservative lawyer Mike Davis told New York Attorney General Letitia James, “We will put your fat ass in prison” if she tries to continue weaponizing the law against President-elect Donald Trump, in violation of his constitutional rights. “We’re not messing around this time,” Davis warned.
“I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term,” Davis said, addressing James during an interview with Benny Johnson on The Benny Show podcast.

“Listen here, sweetheart, we’re not messing around this time, and we will put your fat ass in prison for conspiracy against rights. And I promise you that,” Davis continued, addressing James.
In his message to James, Davis added, “So think long and hard before you want to violate President Trump’s constitutional rights or any other Americans’ constitutional rights. It’s not going to happen again.”
Notably, Davis is the founder of the Article III Project, an organization that fights leftist lawfare to defend the rule of law as well as advocate for the confirmation of conservative judges.
Davis is also reportedly being considered as a potential pick for U.S. Attorney General under the incoming Trump administration.
On Wednesday — after Trump won the 2024 presidential election in a landslide victory, earning not only the Electoral College vote but also the nation’s popular vote, as well as every swing state — James threatened to continue using lawfare to go after President-elect Trump.
“We did not expect this result, but we are prepared to respond to this result, and my office has been preparing for several months,” James said of the election results, adding, “We are prepared to fight back once again.”
Davis responded to James’ threat in an interview with Newsmax on Wednesday, saying, “Number one, you’re about to get reversed on appeal by even Democrat-appointed judges on the New York Appellate Court for your bogus lawsuit against President Trump.”
“Number two, you better be careful, because when you politicize and weaponize law enforcement against your political enemies, you are engaged in a very serious federal civil rights felony called ‘conspiracy against rights’ under 18 U.S. Code § 241,” Davis continued, addressing James.
“And I can imagine that the Trump 47 Justice Department is not going to have any patience for this Democrat lawfare over the next four years,” Davis added.

Rifle Scopes Better Eye Box/Relief Near Top of Magnification Range

Looking to purchase a new (or used) scope, but it's impossible to find a single place where i can compare some side by side. So I've come to the Hide for opinions from those who have time behind the following scopes....

After considering glass, turrets, illumination, reticles...etc, the next priority for me is a forgiving/generous eye box/eye relief in the 20x-25x range, and forgiving parallax. I know eye box and eye relief get tighter as you near max magnification, but some get tighter sooner throughout the range than others. And some scopes need adjusting of the parallax about every 50 yards. The only scope below I've been able to finger-bang is the NF. Impressive for sure, but 7x is getting up there for the low end while hunting.

NF ATACR 7-35x56
Leica PRS 5-30x56
Steiner M7Xi 4-28x56
Steiner T6Xi 5-30x56
ZCO 5-27x56 (Only added to the list for future consideration)

Use will be range (1400 yds max), intro into PRS, and hunting. Budget is $3K max.

Any other scopes I should be considering? Please no Vortex or Leupold.

Thanks in advance.

Tech Help - Kestrel 5700x and AB Quantum

So I bought a new Kestrel (my first) - the 5700x. It was on sale (may still be) at Eurooptic for the same price as the normal 5700 Elite, so why not?

I've got three primary challenges and I'd love some help. The challenges are (probably) in order as I'm trying to still figure this wonky thing out.

1. Kestrel LiNK ballistics sees the Kestrel, but won't connect. It just hangs on "connecting to" and then the connexion disappears. Kestrel LiNK, on the other hand, connected just find without issue.
2. This is (probably) related to issue 1, but I can't figure out how, for the love of Moses, to push my AB Quantum gun profiles into the Kestrel. I'm *assuming* that this is because I can't get the Kestrel LiNK ballistics app set up properly and this is how I would do it.
3. I'm frustrated that the Kestrel can either be on PC / Mobile settings or Device, but not both. I have a Terrapin X LRF that I'd love to pair with the Kestrel and have the combined data sent to the AB Quantum app. Sadly, this appears not to be (unless y'all have figured out a right and proper hack) and so I need / would like to use the AB app inside the Kestrel which leads me back to 1.

Appreciate all help,

Cheers!

Accessories WTT: Proof Carbon LMT converted AR 14.5" 223/556 barrel

I know this is a long shot, but I am looking to trade my low round count (<100) 14.5" Proof Carbon Fiber AR barrel that was LMT converted by D. Wilson for an 18" Proof Carbon Fiber AR barrel, either new/low round count unconverted or D. Wilson LMT converted. I am only willing to work with well established members with solid feedback.

Destination matches?

Looking for some ideas on unique matches or locations around the US. Been shooting in the local Wyoming and Colorado prs type matches for a few years. Also shot the steel safari, team safari, and a guardian match. Looking to try some new locations that offer a unique experience or venue.

So far on my list is K&M and Altus. What other suggestions do you guys have to add to my bucket list? Doesn’t need to be PRS type matches but want to focus on long range rifle.

Also not in my prime anymore so not looking for 100 mile death marches. Could be more intense than steel safari but not crazy.

What is it Worth? Older Leupold Mark 4 10x

NOT SELLING, JUST CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT THEY RUN THESE DAYS.

I have a ca. 2000 Leupold Mark 4, 10x with M3 dial (168gr only), that came with an old first gen FN SPR that I bought about a decade ago. The glass is as good as Leupold made back then, no scratches or issues. Honestly, the scope is in 95%+ condition. The only real drawback is that the elevation dial is mushy AF...but it is repeatable...I've killed 9 deer through this scope and each time the dial matched a dead animal.

I know that these have become a tad more desirable to collectors. I have a better one on my M24 (and maybe I should have posted this in the "vintage" sub-forum). I'm at a personal crossroads of either using this on an M14 build several years down the road, or moving it. The biggest downside is that if I decide that I need one again I don't want to be out $$$.

I can't find squat on the internet right now - other than a single Gunjoker listing for $2,100 (and I'm thinking that guy is smoking something).

Anybody have a clue on what the going rate is for these now?
