Most of you probably remember the Battleship Game played as a youngster. Well I watched a video of a couple of gentlemen playing the shooting game at 300 yards. So I thought that it can also be played with rimfire rifles, pistols or air guns at an appropriate distance. Here's the video:

A couple of PDF files of the target that I produced are attached. You will notice that one version of the target has the numbers on top with letters on the side and vice-versa. I noticed that there are variations of the game in some online photos. So I have produced two versions of the target depending on the game you have.

When printed actual size on 8.5 X 11 paper, each square is 3/4". I would have liked to made them larger but couldn't due to the constraints of paper size and MS Publisher.

I suggest that you print it on card stock to get clean bullet holes in the paper. If you have a printer that can accommodate larger paper such as 11 X 17 you could select "fit to size" on the options and get larger squares to shoot at. Nevertheless, a .75" square should not be a problem for a precision rimfire rifle at 50 yards. For 8.5 X 11 paper or card stock remember to select "actual size" in the print dialogue.

The rules are modified for the shooting game and printed on the target. Put some money on the game for added stress.

I am heading to Canada soon and am wondering what your guys experience has been bringing in extra fuel. We are going bear hunting and bringing a boat and 2 side x sides. We want to bring some extra fuel for the truck and both machines.

The best I can tell we are good to bring 30 gallon across the border, Or would it be better to take empty jugs and fill them in Canada.

First time at the range with my new can! My hosts are a DPMS LR 308 and a Ruger SR 556. I was really happy with both if you are in the market for a 30 can look them up. The mount on both guns are ROCK SOLID and easy to use. I confirmed my 100 yard zero with my 308 first with some new factory ammo hornady Z max 168. I put on my can and gave it a go... no change in zero and quiet as all get out and felt recoil was cut in half. People at the range started asking questions and was taking video even..haha Later a guy showed up with a surefire 762 can and sat right next to me. we talked and both of us were excited to try out our cans shot for shot. He wasn't too happy because his was louder and others on the range all agreed that the phantom sounded better. Funny that mine was almost half the price and wayyyyy lighter to boot. So I ended up getting a foundation Samson for my Terminus Zues QC. It came with the brass weight/rail. Way too heavy, switched to Aluminum and removed ALL Brass I could find. Still to heavy. I like the stick but it is too heavy still. I could try to sell it ( with both sets of weights) or find a way to remove another couple of pounds. Not sure how much ditching the black top weights buys. Not sure how to safely bore out the butt stock. Any ideas?
