Hello All,
I'm trying to figure out if I've got unrealistic expectations or if I need to get some instruction. I understand that the basics become more important as recoil increases, and I think I've got the basics down pretty well. I've got a switch barrel rifle, and when I shoot 6.5 Creedmoor, I'm a consistent 1/2 MOA shooter at 100 yards (on a good day, I've shot multiple groups in the .25-.35 MOA range), and I can hit an 18"x30" silhouettte at 1k 8 out of 10 if conditions aren't too crazy. When I shoot the 300 PRC, I'm shooting .6-.75 MOA at 100 yards and 5 out of 10 at 1K. I'm shooting a heavy suppressed rifle, so I don't feel like I'm flinching. Do I just need to get some instruction, or is there something I'm not thinking about?
I'm using Hornady ELD Match for both calibers.
Thank you!
