Gavin Newsom on Shawn Ryan

Listened to this today on a road trip. What a complete POS this guy is.

Constantly talks about himself like he's the messiah and nobody, I mean nobody does it better than him and California. He likes the smell of his own farts.

He's attempting to rebrand himself ahead of the next Presidential election without actually telling you he is going to run. All of a sudden he's against trans people in women's sports, likes fossil fuels, and guns.

He was gifted a Sig pistol at the start of the show, too bad it wasn't a P320....

ADG Brass Not Growing After multiple firings, would you still bump the shoulder?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to dial in a picky 7PRC build with a proof pre fit and after learning that Hornady Brass can be sub par, I bit the bullet (bad pun) and picked up some ADG brass to work off of. I'm on 3 firings with it now, and surprised that the ADG brass has not grown at all even having been fired 3 times. Using a hornady headspace comparator, the virgin brass measured 1.8905 - 1.8910. After three firings, its still measuring the same at 1.8910, and still seems to chamber without issue. Because of this, I've just been full length sizing the brass with the smallest redding comp shell holder for a .000 shoulder bump (i.e. no bump)

In comparison, Hornady brass after two firings seemed to grow as much as 1.8925 - 1.8930 (which I'm assuming is softer brass). It seems like at this point, it just starts to get tight in the chamber.

So, for all you experienced handloaders out there, does this seem normal? Does it make sense that premium brass wouldn't grow to chamber size after three firings? Also, does it seem strange that virgin ADG brass would only be like 1 -1.5 thou smaller than my chamber right out of the get go? Lastly, if this all seems normal, would you bump the shoulder back .002 or continue to not bump the shoulder until the fired brass doesn't chamber anymore.

Thanks for any insight!!

Outfitter Recommendations

Good Morning!

I've been thinking about a guided hunt in 2026 or 2027, but don't really know where to start. I'm thinking whitetail, mule deer or pronghorn, and I live in KC so I'd like to drive rather than fly. Wondering if anyone can recommend an outfitter they've had good experience with?

Im not sure what additional info might be helpful, but I'd say my budget is around $5k or less, I'm thinking something like 3-4 days, and I shoot comfortably out to about 400 yrs (which makes me think a western hunt might not be right for me). I'm decently fit, so could hike, and my current deer hunting experience basically involves box blinds over large ag fields......kinda looking to try something a little different that won't crush the bank account too bad.

Thanks!
J

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

It's a step but not a big enough step (IMO the NFA is un-Constitutional and should go away like the ATF).

Basically, the proposal would bring the $200 tax to $0 but you would still have the commie NFA registration.

Rimx with ModX conversion likes Vudoo mags better than RimX Mags

The title says it all.

I just picked up a Rachel Precision Brux on a RimX action with the ModX bolt.
The guns shoot beautifully- tight groups at both 50 and 100 yards.

But here is the issue — I have 2 RimX mags with extensions and they are well built, but no matter how I adjust them, they do not feed consistently, so I decided to try a polymer Vudoo mag, as I had some with me and BINGO—- flawless feeding—— has anyone else experienced this.

When watching the rounds feed, it appears that the round hits the chamber a little low and shaves some lead and the cartridge hangs on the lower (6 o clock) aspect of the chamber. Probably about 1 in every 20 rounds does it. SO…… I adjusted the mag to sit as high as possible however that did not fix the problem— I believe the issue is the angle on the front edge of the rimx mag.

The Vudoo mag on the other hand feeds flawlessly over hundreds of rounds.

Thoughts??

SOLD Triebel 6.5CM Full Length Resizing Die, Benchrest Seating Die, Benchrest Neck Sizing Die

Triebel Full length resizing die, Triebel Benchrest Seating die, and Benchrest neck sizing die. Creedmoor Sports, the US distributor, is not going to resupply their current Triebel inventory so just wanted to inform anyone interested. I bought the 3 die set from someone on here a week or so ago and wasn’t aware of that so I want to be up front and honest. I assume parts can be ordered from other places in Europe if needed. $320 shipped for all 3 dies and forms of payment are Venmo or Apple Pay. I will sell as a set or individually.

I did contact Triebel directly and was told they would sell directly and one of the issues is the tariff situation. The seating die has the correct stem for 6.5cm and I used it last night to seat Berger Hybrid Target bullets and know it works with Hornady ELD Match also. If for some reason you needed another stem you'd have to order from Triebel if Creedmoor Sports doesn't currently have it.
