WOOX Build your stock

I am looking at a WOOX stock. They use the modular approach with their stocks to easily allow for user preferences. I like the Cobra Precision rear, but am wondering if I should go with the forend from their Furiosa. The difference is $20 and the Furiosa has the side M-LOK rails which the standard Cobra does not. Just the bottom M-LOK on the Cobra (both have this)

In the pictures that I see, I don't see many using the side rails on their rifles. $20 won't put me over budget or anything, but is there a reason to have/not have the side M-LOK?

Thanks for your time.

Falkor Defense Actions

I haven't seen much on here about the Falkor actions. We personally love the actions, and use them constantly on builds. The LW7 has become a staple in our ultralight line and have had 0 issues with them. The Seven is a contender with a ton of the older actions and in some cases has some better features. Something to look at if you are looking for something cool, and we know where you can find them if you need one! Hit us up!

SOLD WTS Uintah Precision 6mm ARC CF

Gents,

I love the 6 ARC. It just hammers coyotes and if my custom built 6 ARC hadn't been finished, this one would stay with me for the duration. Since I don't need two, this one is available.
I bought this upper last fall. It has exactly 113 rounds on the barrel. My longest coyote kill with it was 407 yards. It's a shooter with 29.7 Grains of CFE 223, BR-4's and Hornady 87 grain Vmax's. Will include 3 mags, possibly 4. I just need to locate that mag. Might be in my truck, but it's at the shop. Won't know until I get it back.
This upper is the 22" 7.5 Twist Cabon Fiber wrapped barrel. It will include UP's recommended trigger for your AR lower. I adjusted it to 2.1 lbs, and it's very nice. Upper has been painted in Krylon.
Here is a link to the upper,

UP's recommended trigger,

UP recommended Magazines,

Upper includes a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44 mounted in a new BO Condition One 20 MOA 1.5" mount with diving board. Scope was purchased New for the upper. Its unpainted. The scope is mounted backwards in the mount. This offset the 20 MOA built into the upper receiver. Doing this provided me with zero can't when I clipped on my Eotech ELR Thermal. For those that have the Vortex Impact 4000 WMLRF it will clear the Hight of the Thermal. The upper will include the SICO Muzzle brake. The AR Lower and the Area 419 ARCA rail are Not included. Just the Upper, mags, mount, and scope. Yours for $2250.00 shipped to you, OBRO.

Fixed Magazines

I am thinking about building a rifle on a custom long action. I am looking at the Zermatt Origin and the Terminus Zeus at the moment. I would really like a Mausingfield, but they don't seem to be available in long action anymore.

I am thinking of chambering it in either .25-06, 6.5-06 or another 6.5mm calibre but would like another barrel in either .338-06 or 9.3x62 for occasional overseas use.

I would ideally like to have a fixed magazine or at least the ability to top load the magazine but my concern is that whilst I am looking at similar cases, a BDL magazine might not feed correctly with two different calibres. The only alternative I can find would be a Sako 85 or 75 magazine, which are readily available, but I am not sure would feed correctly.

It seems that having several AICS magazines might be my only option, but I would be grateful for any thoughts.

Inconsistent POI.

I put a new rifle together for deer season this year and I’m less than impressed with it. Parts used:
C A Ridgeline 308 with 20” carbon barrel
McMillan HTG stock
A G - M5 bottom metal
TT trigger set at 2.5lbs
EEW 20 moa base
Vortex PMR rings
Leupold VX-5 3-15 x 44
Hornady 165gr sst
The action started out torqued to 35, 45 and then 55 in lbs, rings and base are torqued to spec. I’ll do 3 shot groups @ 100 yards with about 20 minutes in between to let it cool down and the POI will shift from group to group. I put my Mark-5 on it to see if I had a dud scope but I get the same results. Today it started out right and shifted left by the end of the day. I accept the fact that it’s a factory barreled action and will only shoot 1.25 MOA but why is it shifting? (Disregard the 3 shots in the middle of the paper, they were from a different rifle)

Intel Expansion Bus for additional 2.5Gb Ethernet Port and 2 x USB ports:

Crucial RAM 64GB RAM kit info:

Current NUC 12 from NewEgg (barebones):

This unit will also come with an external expansion box that allows you to install a PCIe desktop card in it, should you ever to. (Highly unlikely, but options are good.)
The expansion unit also allows you to connect high power devices to the Thunderbolt / USB4 port on the back of it. It's pretty cool. (If you have a Mac at the host, it's useful there too.)
