6mm Creed AR10 Feeding

I recently bought a Seekins SP10 in 6mm Creedmoor that I plan to use in PRS gas gun and other competitions. Naturally I'd like to use as aerodynamic of bullet as possible and I have an assortment to try and see what the gun likes. The good news is that so far it shoots everything pretty well. The bad is that it won't feed Berger 109s. The ogive is long enough that the meplat hits below the bottom of the chamber before the feed ramps kick the bullet up enough for it to run into the chamber like it normally would. The gun feeds 108 ELDMs with no issue but the ogive profile on those is quite different from the 109s. I presume I will have the same feeding issue with 110 SMKs and most of the 115 class bullets as well.

I have been using PMAGs. Would a different mag make a difference or is this a case of AR10s aren't designed to shoot super sleek 6mm bullets? Is there anything else that I can try within reason? The gun shoots the 108s just fine and they will work for what I need so I'm not up a creek but I would like to at least have the option to use some of these other bullets.

Vietnam War….April 30 , 1975 ….its a wrap !

How fast time flies !

Doesn’t seem possible that 50 yrs ago today the Vietnam War was finally over. There are a few of us on this forum that were old enough to have been directly or indirectly involved. I’m thankful that my time over there was relatively safe compared to the forces on the ground 24/7.
I had an aircraft carrier to protect me , no bugs , no leeches , no VC shooting at me.
I lost a few friends over there , some friends that are still there mentally. I made some life long friends I still see and keep up with today.
For all of you who were there , glad you made it home too. 🍻

Rem 721 time to re-barrel, what caliber

I have a 721 30-06 which I got from my father. Nothing fancy but it has a well adjusted trigger. I was hoping for the rifle to serve both as a range toy for local level 300 yd steel and egg matches, as well as a hunting rifle for whitetail in northern new england. The range use being the focus, and hunting as time allows at a friends property.

I recently spent some time at the range with it and it consistently has a POI shift as it warms up. Walks down the paper ~3" at 100 yards till hot, then holds steady. I knew it had a historic tendency for shifting POI so before I took it out I gave it pillars and bedded the action in addition to floating the barrel. I'm pretty sure the pencil barrel is the culprit and am considering re-barreling with something a bit heavier (M24/MTU) but am now thinking about caliber choice.

the basic perimeters are :
readily available match grade factory ammo because I have no time for reloading with a young family
cant be too small of a case cause it a long action and I would like to be able to use the blind mag

currently I'm thinking about 6.5x55 but am wondering what the recommendations might be.

I recognize that the recommendation will likely be origin action with 6BR prefit for the target work and leave the existing rifle alone for hunting but I like projects and making use of what I have.

Firearms Ed Brown Kobra Carry

45ACP, Like new condition, not sure if it's even been fired outside of the factory.

Trijicon RMR, 6 factory mags, spare grips, original trigger, factory case, and all the goodies.

$3600 ftf in central MI or plus shipping & insurance via ship my gun.

ETA: I could make use of a decent spotter as partial trade. Maybe a ZCO 527 or a 7-35 ATACR, 10x NL Pures.
