Colt 9MM SMG adapter roll pin placement

As the title states, I'm looking for information (dimensions) for where the three roll pins are placed in the lower receiver. I've searched the site and the Internet to no available except for photographs. I sent an e-mail to R&D Precision who built the original adapters and waiting for a response. I've also sent an e-mail off to Blowback9 to see if he has any information.

My adapter is on backorder so don't have it in hand to take any measurement or get better visual clues. I'm hoping some of you might have already done this and may be able to help.

Trijicon SRO issue

I have a relatively new SRO 5 MOA that has intermittent dot issues. Curious if anyone else has had a similar problem that might be a simple fix before sending it off to Trijicon.

Mounted on a Sig P320 with a PMM dual port comp. I mounted it to the factory slide RMR mount. Screws are torqued properly and witness marked. The first 200 rounds were zero issues. Recently the dot likes to disappear randomly while firing. The dot will come back on it's own. Holster it and it will come back after a few minutes usually. Draw and fire sometimes 1-2 mags and no issue, then later maybe after 3 rounds it does it again. I check the sight to make sure it's still tight, no movement. Try adjusting brightness and nothing. Lower the pistol then check it again and the dot will be back. Really odd to me.

I checked to make sure it wasn't in the "Auto" setting. Tried turning it off and on, called Trijicon and the grumpy tech guy told me that they had a bad run of Duracell batteries and to make sure it had an Energizer installed. I opened the battery cover and it had an Energizer from the factory. Changed the battery to one that was slightly thicker (.125") and same issue. Inconsistent dot. The optic doesn't appear to have moved at all, screws still tight. No obvious issues from looking at the contacts for the battery.

I have two SRO and several other dots like an original RMR, ACRO and a couple of Holosuns. It's not me losing the dot from poor grip or anything like that. It's just off and on randomly.

Piggyback Red Dot Mount

The T-Rex Arms offset Aimpoint mount I had wasn't really working for me on my SPRecce with the NF 4-16 ATACR. So I started looking at some different solutions, an Arisaka offset mount was one of them but I also wanted to give a piggy back mount another go. The trouble was that the two 34mm options I found were $150-$170 which was a bit much for something I may not even like. However, I found a cheap option on Amazon, a Monstrum 34mm piggyback picatinny mount for a whopping $21.

This isn't a review so much as my observations, for being a MIC product the quality isn't bad, the finish is consistent, the fasteners appeared to be good enough, even the small screws holding the rail to the ring cap. I had about 1" from the front of the ring to the start of the objective bell and this mount fit perfectly in between, I'd say it's probably .90" or so wide. There are two mounted positions for the rail so it can be biased toward the front or the rear towards the turret. On my set up, having it biased towards the rear was too close to the turret for me but forward put it a bit close to the objective bell so I filed it down for more clearance.

NF piggyback red dot.jpg

Height from scope center to top of the picatinny is about 1 3/8", which puts the Sig 2" above scope center line with the low mount as shown. I zeroed it at 100 yards without any drama and it stayed put throughout the range trip so I'll chalk that up to a win in my book. I have to say the 12:00 set up is growing on me but I think I'd like something where the red dot is more directly mounted instead of a series of fasteners so I might start giving the LT787 and Reptilia options a closer look.

The HOB above and zeroed at 100 yards means that of course I need to hold high A-Zone inside of 50 yards but I'm basically a dead hold from there until about 200+ yards and at 300 I'd be holding about the shoulder line on a BC plate.

Ase Utra Dual flow suppressors

Hi guys. I want to suppress two ARs (.223 and .308) with the same suppressor, and since i live in Europe the Ase Utra looks like a nice way to go. My plan was to get the correct caliber muzzle brake for both the 223 and 308, and then use the Ase Utra Dual 7.62 for both. I care most about low back pressure and recoil reduction, as i will be wearing double hearing protection anyways. These are quite reasonable priced compared to the bigboys (hux etc). Ive got loads of baffle suppressors that could be used, but i wish to minimize back pressure and be able to switch between muzzle brake and suppressor without adjusting gas block and minimum POI shift.

There is very little talk about these, has anyone experienced these or have anything to say about the Ase Utra flow suppressors?
