Feedback on Target and Stand

Background: My friend has a little land where we can setup and shoot distance and I've bought some steel targets and stands for this purpose. I have found them to be a little clumsy or fragile and limited in number of targets/sizes you can use until you get way up in price.

So I thought I'd make something that might satisfy some of the annoyances which were mainly: storage/transportation/ease of setup/limited target size selection/stand construction (thin steel tubes)

Attached are the pictures of what I came up with.
Stand - flat pack and made of plain carbon steel everything attached with clevis pins (1/4")
Hanger - rubber strap
Target - 6 in 1 1"-6" target in 1" increments AR500 (designed to keep center of gravity in the middle) 3/8"
Top crossbar AR500 3/8"

I have not had any of these parts cut out yet. I wanted to get feedback on the design first of both the target and the stand.

TIA

Badger Ordinance M2013 action...can they still be found?

My buddies finally pulled the trigger on a pair of savage chassis guns which kind of lit a fire under my butt to start thinking of building one myself. Ive always loved the M2013 action but I see theyre never in stock on Badger Ordinances website. Are they discontinued? If so how hard is it to come by one? Id prefer to find a short action for 308 or 6.5 creed. I know there are plenty of other actions widely available on the interwebs but i kinda have my heart set on a AI patterened action. TIA everyone! Im new to snipershide and so far Im amazed at how awesome this community is!

Rifle Scopes Thread sizing Objectives

I’m trying to 3D print Sunshades for my scopes. I have a few people wanting me to make them some also. So I’m thinking if I can find some way to get accurate threads for basically any scope, it’ll be a little side money help for me.

Does anyone know how to accurately measure, or where (maybe a reference chart) I can find specific thread sizes and counts of basically any thread size? I have read a little, and if I understand it correctly, I can use my mic and measure the highest points of threads for the size, but I’m stuck on the pitch/count on such fine threads. However, that doesn’t help me, because if I’m needing to cut outside threads, I need the size of the inside threads.

Any suggestions?

New m110 barrel offering? Possible PSA Sabre-10 upgrade for using the KAC/Griffin M110 suppressor

Hey, an industry contact from a well established manufacturer asked me today if I thought there would be interest in an M110 barrel that's LR308/DPMS gen 1 compatible. Proposed details are 1-10 twist, with a .875 gas journal and single rail steel gas block, chrome lined. The idea is to make another option that's compatible with KAC/Griffin M110 suppressors, without KAC markup, or using companies like SR25/HTX who are kinda under the radar options that are hard to get ahold of and don't have a dedicated storefront of their own.

What say you, if this popped up from a reputable manufacturer at a decent price, is this something you'd consider? What details would you change?

Note: nothing is for sale, they haven't made a single one of these, I'm working on talking them into a one-stop upgrade option

AXSR as PRS Rig with Short Action Cartridge

Hi folks,
I currently shoot a tikka tac a1 in 6.5cm. With 130g sierra it's pretty consistently (even with me) under 1/2 an inch with 5 round groups as long as it doesn't get too hot. So obviously I'm considering selling it and buying something else. The only rifle I'd really be interested in replacing it with is a switch caliber like the AXSR. I would want it in .308 and .300prc, my two most common bolt action calibers to shoot.

Is it insane to shoot a magnum action receiver like the AXSR with a short action cartridge in competition? Is running the bolt reasonable or are you traveling 2x as far for each round as you would in a short action only rifle? My main competitive deficiency is speed, so I'm hesitant to get something that would make cycling the rifle and staying on target even more challenging for myself.

Thanks!

Low end Torque Values- Borka vs Wiha

I've got to mount some optics, so I'm in the market for an in/lb torque wrench

What I mainly wanna know is the ranges of torque values I'm gonna be dealing with. That will tell me what I need:
-Scope bases/pic rails:
-Scope rings, bottom:
-Scope rings, top:
-Action screws:
-turret screws?
-anything else i'm forgetting?

Is there anything I would need to go lower than 10 in/lb for?
Is there anything I need to go higher than 50 in/lb for?

I've got an AC Delco (automotive brand) digital wrench that has a 3/8 square drive. It goes from 44-400 something in/lb. I use this for muzzle devices, or anything in the 3-30ish FT/LB range.

So I've narrowed my options down to the Borka and Wiha. Both have great reviews. If the Wiha had the same range, I'd have bought it already, as I prefer its design to the Borka.
Both seem reportedly comparable in accuracy.
Both are roughly the same price. ($175 for the Borka, & $150-180 for the Wiha, w/neccesary 1/4" adapter for american bits)

Now, if there are things I'm gonna need to go higher than 50 in/lb for, but they're very unlikely to happen in the field, then the 10-50 sounds fine. If not, the Borka seems like the better option. But, if there's various things beyond 70 in/lb that, are are highly likely to need attention in the field, then the Borka has also lost its appeal. Since I'd have take my larger wrench with me anyways. The main thing I don't like about the Borka is how your grip has to change based on the value you select. If it was a screwdriver style like the Wiha, I'd have already bought it.

My goal is to have something handheld, for my range bag, which is the main issue with my ACDelco. It's rather large and not very useable with one hand if I have to hold the gun. Definitely suited to things clamped in a vise. It's also heavy, and comes in a long bulky box. (I did consider the Fixit sticks, but I've passed on that option due to its design. No need to recommend that one, I'm aware lots of guys use and love them.)
