Trigger tech two stage trigger. 519 rounds on the barrel and action (I’ll add the exact round count later) built by Baldwin Gun Works LLC, with Alpha Carbide 6 GT chamber reamer. Comes with on de aw mag, no scope or bipod. I’ll update the original post with more glamour shots later. It absolutely loves 108 bergers.

On the early morning of November 8, 2024, 12 shots were fired at random at cars and residential buildings between Interstates 40 and 440 in Raleigh in a span of several hours. Police matched the locations of the reported shots to cell phone pings from a vehicle matching witness descriptions being present at the shootings and arrested 23 year old Andrew Thomas Graney, a NCSU student majoring in anthropology who had been enrolled since 2019 and charged him with assault with intention to kill and discharging a firearm into occupied cars and dwellings for each of the shots he had fired. A .45 caliber handgun was also recovered from the suspect's vehicle matching the .45 caliber casings found at the sites of the shots. No people or animals were harmed. Graney is currently being held without bond at a Wake County detention center.

REGIONAL ALERT STATUS: The suspect is believed to have been working alone and as of currently, NO further threats are being posed to residents of the community though people are advised to remain constantly vigilant.

I have a 23" 300wm barrel with a 1/12 twist rate that was designed for lighter (135 gr) bullets. I'd like to run 185's but calculators say it wouldn't stabilize properly.
I'm wondering if there's is a specific distance, say 300 yards, that is used in this determination. So the bullet might just stabilize if it had longer to go.
Wishful thinking.
