Ingenuity Precision trickler

I'm trying to check out their website, but its functioning oddly. Asks for a password to view any of the product pages.

Anyone else running into that?

Edit: the pre-order page works fine, which I guess is where they are trying to direct traffic towards.

Interested in hearing how this product works for those here. I have a V2 autotrickler, it's getting a bit long in the the tooth and the trickler portion is pretty fickle. The rubber o-ring "belt" constantly slips on the trickler shaft, its become a pain in the ass.

I can tell you that Adam will tell you to fuck off... He's kinda pissed about the presence of the IP. IMHO.
I'm not surprised by this, but I'm still gonna ask, I've had this V3 since it came out and he made his money off of me so he shouldn't be too pissy about it. We will see, he's been pretty good about responding to emails before..

Did you check the response time setting on the scale? It should be set to fast.

When it turns on it says fast on the display. I'm not sure what is causing it but I think it is Adam's board. I emptied out the hopper and trickler, and when I stroke the powder dropper or the trickler individually the scale drops down into the negative and then goes back up to around zero after I turn them back off so this leads me to believe it's something in the control module board interfering with the scale..

Did you try remove the AT electronics and see if the scale will function normally ? Put a know weight on the platen and see if it is stable

I am going to do more testing when I get home from work. I mean this stuff literally just started out of know where...

100 gram weight using no electronics, they are still hooked up and in place, but not in use.

Also zero replies from emails sent to CE Products or Autotrickler.com/Adam.. I may order a Supertrickler just to have as a backup to the V3 in case of failures.

1543.20 gn = 100 grams and its not drifting ? Your answer s there (cough cough AT electronics)
Yeah, im thinking it's the control board in the back of the scale, because I move either of the two motors independently and see a large negative shift in the scale readout with no powder being used. I still have a couple of other things I wanna try to rule out the cables and motors but I'm pretty sure I'm right in what I'm thinking.

Just a wild thought - you are using the AT supplied power supply right?

Thats probably you moving around or breathing or something - AKA its an Adam issue .....
I think so, problem is I've had this setup since the V3 came out so I doubt he'll do anything for me, especially since he isn't answering my email as of yet.. I think I can order a board from his site for 60 bucks, just sucks cause I literally just got my Ingenuity Precision.. This probably started because of me playing with the slider trying to adjust my new toy..

So you can count that out - have you got a spare cable to test the cable theory out ?
I do, I replaced it to the trickler, no fix. The funny thing is, I can watch the scale and as soon as I connect with Bluetooth, I can see the scale flicker...

Thats got nothing to do with anything - you used the same trickler motor on the IP and the slider is meant to be adjusted , the issue happens even on the coarse drop ? unplug the IP side see if it happens ? maybe you can isolate the low voltage issue?

Just from activating the Bluetooth, and nothing else, the scale drops from 1543.20 - 1543.14 and stays there.. This is with both cables unplugged from the scale.

Maybe it just went bad ? Adam normally responds - I think today was a holiday for the snow mexicans

Is there a way to input charge weights into the actual scale without using a phone/activating bluetooth?

Thanks fellas, will do.. I'll stop destroying the IP thread....

With the original AT board and auto trickler yes everything was entered on the scale....I don't know if you can with v3...probably....you'll have to pull up the old directions

Played with mine again tonight. Tested it out dropping my 22GT N550 load... N550 wasn't on IG's powder/disc list so not sure if 7545 is the right one....it calls for 567 with N555...

I had to move the slider down to about half way then it was dropping consistent every time. Really liking this thing!

Nice!! Are you using that APC next to your scale for your scale? That's the next thing I need to get just for extra protection for this next board. Lol. If so, does it both raise low voltages and trim high voltage? I'm looking for one that does both.. Thanks

Yes it's an automatic voltage regulator and surge protector.

Hey all,

Noticed a few folks were looking for the wind screens (riser) for the V2, V3 & V4 / Ingenuity trickler systems. I put a post on the "Reloading Equipment" with all the options if you are interested.

Thanks,
Jim

Sorry for sending all those folks your way, Jim. 😆😆

Ended up pulling the trigger on one to upgrade my V2.

The trickler of the V2 is the weakest link of that system. My current trickler has become painful to deal with. The "belt" constantly slips on the spindle, it's just not reliable and results in extremely long trickling time.

Looking forward to having a more reliable system, this should do it. Now I just need to find something to replace the chintzy straw on the thrower.

I ordered one as well due to the same issues with my V2. Really excited about this.

It's pretty cool to see a cottage industry prop up around supporting the autotrickler family of products.

As much as I'm looking forward to this product (the trickler is the weakest part of the autotrickler series), it does give me pause how potential issues will be handled, given that Adam/Autotrickler sounds a bit hostile towards this cottage industry.

Adam made a good product, it worked well, but there are improvements thought out by outside minds, nobody will ever think of everything when it comes into initial development, improvements will always be found in after thoughts my minds of others.

Absolutely, just like anything really.

I'm pretty happy to change out the trickler on the autotrickler system - that part has been the source of a lot of headaches for the past year or more for me.

Personally I wish this autotrickler ecosystem that's developing was a bit more integrated and supportive of each other.

Just wanted to put this out there, Paul has 4 more disks available on his site available to order. Disks. 567, 689, 6115 and 705.

Ive got one still in the sealed shipping box at home, haven't had the chance to use it, makes me a lil depressed really! I should prob order a few more cables and a motor from Andy so I can keep the trickler on side piece status.

Anyone receiving their tricklers? Just curious where we are on the wait list. Ordered first part of October and site said 45 days…… getting pretty tired of my slipping V2 spindle

I ordered mine on 10/16/22, hasn't shipped yet.

In the other thread it sounds like there's reports of these shipping again. So hopefully soon?
