We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!

I don’t know what Reddit post your talking about, Im normally not the one to bug or bitch about something but when I was told 90 days, then 270, and then it’s like who knows it’s absurd.
It was my post on the previous page from last night, post # 10,299 and I have an attached screenshot showing a 115 day difference between two approvals from yesterday. You may want to read it.

Just got a response from the system and a follow up from a person, thanked the person for looking at my form 4 status, will update if approved soon.

My 6/21/22 single shot trust got approved yesterday as well.
2 days after I contacted my congress critters. Coincidence? Yes, actually. I only heard back from 1 of them, and they wanted more info.

AEM5
Eform 4 individual
Submitted: 9-14-22
Approved: 4-25-23
Control #: 20227670XX

I’ll take it. Submitted another can that day so hopefully that’s approved soon. Went to pick up the AEM5 and ended up buying a surefire. Back to day 0

He was implying the opposite, I think - that the trust somehow protects you from future confiscation because it's a "legally binding document" which is horseradish

Day 283 still not assigned an examiner… my buddy submitted his same day July 17,2022 1 minute before me and he got his on 259 lol. No words.

Call the ATF branch in Martinsburg WVA. 304-616-4500 Have the serial number of the NFA item in question.

And get what information? I did last week and all I got was “received” and “pending”
I was surprised the last time I called (I usually don't bother with it). Let's say your 'trip in jail' lasts 9 months. It will be classified as 'received' for 8 of them. 'Pending' means it has been assigned to an inspector. Me, I hate the idea that it sat for all that time, yet the inspector only needed 30 days to approve/disapprove. But then I don't stress this thing. The money has been paid, the item is in limbo, the gov't is 'working' on it. What can I do to make it happen faster?? Nothing. Never even think about it until 6 months after its been submitted. Do I want it sooner? Sure, but its guberment work!

B&T VP9 silencer

Stamp submitted: July 06, 2022
Stamp received: April 30, 2023
Total processing time: 298 days

Still waiting on a bunch of silencers and SBR's, all on Eform 4. This is all my paperwork from November 2022 to current. I have more items than these waiting for stamps at my FFL, I just don't have that paperwork in front of me right now. Does anyone know if they've been batch processing the Eform 4's? Last year I got back a nice batch process of about a dozen silencers, but those were on paper Forms from 2021. I really hope they can batch process the Eforms, but I haven't seen anything showing that this could happen like with the paper Forms.

Not sure why, but there's a Form signature tracker. I just looked to see if the person who signed my Form was on it (Katelyn Wheat), and she either got married or divorced recently since her name on the Imgur signature list is Katelyn Hardy. Just a random bit of information if you've got a stamp collection and you care about the signatures for whatever reason.

I count 20 RPQ forms in your picture. Did you do all 20 of them on one traditional trust or 20 individual trusts? If you did them all on a traditional trust there is a high chance you will get batch approved (see my previous posts from the last month). If you submitted as single item trusts there is no evidence of that happening. The minimum number batch approved on a traditional trust posted on Reddit is six or more.

I used to do the Silencer Shop Single Shot Trusts, but now I put everything in a traditional trust. All 20 of the items in the photo (plus about half a dozen more that I didn't have paperwork on hand to put in the photo) are in a traditional trust.

I actually had a batch process a year or 2 ago with the paper Form 4. It was about 8+ silencers and they were all on the individual Single Shot Trusts from Silencer Shop. My FFL was pretty shocked that they all came in, I think I only had to wait about a month for the newest silencer when it came back in that batch!

Only seen a few trusts on Reddit with a date past mine 🤞🤞🤞🤞

So they just skipped right on past my 8/19/22 Trust… 😡
I don’t get the trust complaints. The trusts take longer. If you don’t want to wait then don’t do a trust. But if you do a trust, know it takes longer, looks like around 300. I’d love to have a trust but I’d rather have my cans 3 months earlier so I opted for an individual. It’s what’s more important to you.

It used to NOT take longer. That’s why we’re complaining. I’m not new to this, I have 11 cans. I know damn-well what I’m complaining about.

2 years ago it was the same, individual was faster. So not sure how long ago it was the same?

It sure sounds like you don't understand the purpose of a trust.

Is there anybody else in your house? Do they know or could it be construed that they know the combination to your safe? Do you have any nfa items outside the safe at all when you aren't home? Guess what. That's a felony.

Maybe a few days or weeks…Not 3-4 damn months. And no, 2 years ago it wasn’t. I bought 5 cans 2 years ago, and the first 2 only took 8 months from date of purchase to stamps in hand. 1 the dealer has an issue, then an ATF audit, so had to resubmit because they denied over 100 Form 4’s for that dealer because of why they had to audit them…That one took 14 fucking months (instead of 8 like the other 2 purchased at the same time) thanks to the ATF. And the other 2 were after Biden had really started directing the ATF to be douches and slow down the process to a crawl, taking 11 and 13 months for those. Then eForms came along, 90 day bullshit, and then everyone flooded the goddamn system thinking they would get a can in 90 days, and now we’re at over 300. Still think it’s the trusts? It’s the democrats and the ATF slowing shit down.

Jumped back out into the deep end again with another can, CGS Hyperion K. My last can took 347 days (Paper Form 4) from start to finish. Lets see how long this one takes......

I put this table together real quick of the month by month data from Reddit, March of 2022 is the oldest data on their web app. This is the median wait in number of days for approved cans month by month for individuals and trusts and the difference between them. April 2023 is a clear outlier, and while watching the data come in, you could see that the difference started the last few days in March. May has only 1 day in the data so far so I left it out of the table, but for May 1st, the difference between trust and individual filings is 77 days. For me, I had fairly high hopes of getting mine in time for hunting, if this trend continues, I'll be lucky to get it by Christmas.

Even if this hadn't changed in the last month, do trust filers have any less of a reason to complain? Why should it take the ATF any longer to do trusts than individuals? Clearly it didn't for about a year.

Oh I know what a trust is. And I know I can set up a trust later while holding the cans. Not excited to pay 2x but it’s worth it having the can in hand.

So I guess your answers are no. There are those of us that don't have that choice. Why waste the money for a couple of months? Also why the heck would you give the government more money than you have too? Do you pay extra money on your taxes than you have to just because? Cause that is what you are doing.

In my case I want my 338 ultra for hunting season, so I need before October. 200 for a couple months…why not!

9 approvals from 11/15/22
1 approvals from 12/16/22
4 approvals from 02/02/23 (89 days!!!)

19 total stamps approved in the past 3 days! 16 today, 2 yesterday, and 1 from Sunday. Everything from today was signed by Trish, who is known for doing most of the batch processes. The approvals from Sunday and Monday had other inspectors. I still have about a dozen items at my FFL waiting for stamps, fingers crossed that Trish knocks out the rest of them tomorrow!

Everything here is an Eform 4, so this now proves that they do batch process the Eforms and not just the paper forms. This is very important information for anyone else with a bunch of Eforms and were wondering if it's possible to batch process them.

Edit to add: everything here is on a traditional trust.

Do a post of what they all are when you get the rest in. Congrats.

I'll wait to see if I'm lucky enough to have the rest of my pending stamps approved tomorrow (after what I've seen today, there's a chance that Trish could continue approving stuff on my account). Whether or not that happens, I'll try to find time to list out everything for those of you who might be interested in seeing the various silencers.

Out of everything that's been approved, the most important silencers are my legacy SureFire FA762SS silencers with the welded front cap. I actually own 1 of the 4 XM3's that my Scout Sniper platoon had in Fallujah, Iraq back in 2008/9. This XM3 was issued to my friend and I was able to purchase this exact rifle from the CMP back in 2017. My CMP XM3 kit came with everything that it was originally issued with, including the PVS-22 clip-on night vision device! The only thing that wasn't included with my XM3 kit was the USMC used silencer.

The XM3's obviously couldn't transfer to the CMP with their original silencers, so those stayed with the Corps or went to DRMO. Everyone with one of these original XM3 kits has to track down one of the very early SureFire legacy FA762SS silencers, which are pretty damn rare. However, I'm extremely lucky and I was able to purchase the only 2 legit DARPA/military used legacy FA762SS silencers in private hands (there's 2 more, but they're unable to be transferred to another person because the government says that they still own them, so those 2 are impossible to get at this time). The silencers have impeccable provenance, but I'm not going to post details here. These 2 silencers are sequentially numbered and are extremely close to the serial number of the silencer that was originally issued with my USMC XM3 kit.

These 2 original FA762SS silencers have serial numbers FO1128 and FO1129. The silencer that was originally issued with my USMC XM3 was serial number FO1159, which is only 30 digits higher than the original DARPA/military tested silencer that I'll be pairing with the rifle. This is the only original USMC used XM3 kit that also has a silencer that was originally part of the DARPA project! It's not the silencer that the XM3 was originally issued with, but it's as close as you can possibly get to that silencer.

Here's my original USMC XM3 with it's original logbook and original DARPA used silencers. I plan on getting some rattle can FDE paint and spraying the black silencer to match the paint that's on the rifle. The other silencer has the original sniper paint on it from when it was tested by DARPA and the Marines, so I'm going to leave it as it is. I only have 1 original USMC used XM3, so I have no idea what to do with this 2nd original silencer.

20230503_010229.jpg

Here's the very last page in the rifle's logbook, it documents the last time the rifle was fired (I doubt that the rifle has been fired since then, and I haven't fired the rifle since purchasing it). I don't want to shoot the rifle, since it's the last time it was fired was in Iraq during the war.
