Considering the purchase of a Lexivon in/lb torque wrench 1/4" drive 20-200 in/lb. Has anyone had experience with this wrench? Also, recommendation on where to find a T30 plus torque bit. The bit isn't available at any local hardware stores. Thanks.

They charged me $50 to factory cerakote a 300WM barrel with their Mk22 Tactical Peanut Butter™ but that was off the shelf, not something provided by me.

Plenty of other options out there, as well. As a note the Wiha bits I’ve bought in the last year or two are no longer German produced. They still appear to be high quality, but they are made in Vietnam or similar.
Yeah, I just figured to do it right you'd need to completely strip the rifle - not that nobody else could do it, but certainly Barrett (assuming they even offer that service) would make the most sense.
Had a great time at the range today. Mk22 continues to impress and was ringing MOA and sub MOA steel targets at 600 yards. Oddly it's liking the ammo I thought would suck the most but it's also the cheapest, so no complaints!

The only 20" .308 factory Barrett MRAD barrel available is the Mk22 one - I haven't seen that size outside of that.

They look like pretty standard pins which makes sense considering they are retaining parts that rotate. Probably just hammer them out with a punch. If you have a caliper, you could see if one side is bigger than the other in case they have a specific direction?
I did a little digging - Tenebraex makes the flip caps with adapter rings and they also make the ARD as well. The objective and ocular adapter rings with flip caps are available commercially, but only the flip caps themselves are available in RAL8000 - the adapter rings are black - both for the ocular and objective. They can custom make Mk5 adapter rings in RAL8000, but they need a 100 order minimum.
The ARD they make for the Mk5 .mil scopes doesn't appear to be available commercially, but the woman I spoke to on the phone at Tenebraex is going to ask around and get back to me.

I actually had the same concerns, but more so with the stock assembly - can you even remove these (see below)? If not, I suppose they'll just have to be cerakoted over and somehow covered during the coating process?
Are there any black parts that cannot be fully removed from the chassis?
I'm going to answer my own question because I found the answer out - the QD cups cannot be removed. I have the bag rider fastener/screw pointed out as well above, but I (somebody can correct me if I'm wrong) believe that can be removed, so no issue there.
I suppose the only option then is to somehow cover them, or just cerakote over them, but it does appear that there are several black parts that are basically just permanently buried/affixed to the chassis with no way to remove them.
Does anyone know if the buttstock folding button can be removed? That could be another one that would be tricky if not.
@Patch98 Whomever did the cerakote job on your MRAD, were they able to remove the folding buttstock button in the process? Or did they just cover that with something and cerakote around it?
I took the rifle fully apart to the max extent practicable. I let the shop handle the rear takedown assembly/pin since it had to be pressed out. Like you said, the QD cups don't come out so I just had them painted over, not the best looking obviously, but is doesn't bother me (that much).
Your paint job looks great - that wouldn't bother me.
Part of me just wants to take the easy road out and have the bag rider and barrel both cerakoted H-265 to match the rest of the factory H-265 rifle.
The suppressor of course would be darker, but I was planning on wrapping that in a cover anyway.
Man - there is never a friggin easy way to do any of this, is there? Still beats spending another $5,000 on a Mk22 - doesn't seem worth it JUST for the paint job and receiver markings.

Yep! I found it to be similar to how an AR magazine release is installed.

I feel like the Barrett MRAD cerakote disassembly process needs its own thread (I have so many questions)...
For the folding stock hinge pin, does that simply just tap out with a hammer and punch (just like an AK-100 series folding hinge pin)?
And for the folding stock button @Patch98 - you'd just push in on the button side and twist the latch side right off just like an AR magazine release?

Just mocking it up for now (still waiting on a few more accessories) - debating painting the bag rider and barrel H-265 to match the rest of the rifle, or cerakoting the entire thing E-190 for the Mk22 look.
The Mk22 suppressor is currently in jail awaiting approval, but I'm hopeful it won't be long given the shorter wait times recently.

I could have sworn Barrett said it was compatible, but now I'm second guessing myself - will the Mk22 suppressor fit on the current commercial MRAD in 308's muzzle device?

Is it thicker all the way to the muzzle? Or just part of it (closer to the breech)?
I'm wondering how noticeable it'd be from the end of the handgaurd/rail to the muzzle (if you'd be able to tell them apart from the end of the handguard/rail to the muzzle)?
It might be the lighting, but the FDE on the new Leupy scopes look more brown that what is being deployed for big army.

They have been having trouble with that page and their phones, interestingly enough tho, the "SHOP" page worked perfectly

So I want a 300 PRC or 300 Norma MRAD, but I’d like a longer and heavier barrel for ELR. I’ve seen some good deals on the short barrel 308 MRADs. If I bought a 308 MRAD, is the only thing I need to covert it to 300 PRC/Norma the correct barrel makers kit and a gunsmith to spin me up my desired barrel? Besides for the mags, it doesn’t look like I need to do anything else to the gun.

Has anyone tried the new MRAD 416 Barrett? I'm considering this caliber because I am tired of underpunching at ELR competitions. But for $9k maybe I ought to just go full custom instead?
Yea... it packs a punch, sat behind it for over 150rounds spotting for people at the NF match. For a factory ELR option I don't think it can really be beat.
Another option is to have a 41XC barrel made for the standard MRAD. My CADEX 41XC 33" barrel gets 2870fps with 505gr Warner. Just had a 28" 41XC 11-twist spun up for the MRAD to run Hornady 500gr Atips. The only drawback is you can't mag feed. Been busy with work so haven't had a chance to do load development yet.
I didn't realize the stock didn't fold on that beast. How long is it? do they make a case for it?
Overall length is 62inches with a 36inch barrel. It comes in a pelican, you just separate that upper and lower to put in the case.

Scooped a barrel off a member here. Its a barrel kit with a bartlien 6.5. My only experience is using the 300 prc barrel that came with it. Im having major feeding issues with this new barrel has anyone ran into this? Any suggested remedies?
I can pop my custom 6.5 on and test feed it later this week when I get back.
Have you checked the headspace though?
I dont really have a way to check it here. Its shooting fine. Just picks of the round and it hits inside the extension before chambering
