When I first watched it before any information was offered, my initial thought was handgun actually.
Stream of thought follows. I am not bashing anyone here, this is how men behave and hash things out.
If it was the kid and it was an 06, it would leave an exit, period. A Vmax or Barnes varmint bullet or similar would have nearly decapitated him. Any medium hunting bullet would exit, full stop.
The video could be an actual strike with an 06. Not saying it isn’t or that one of the other theories about a .22 close up wasn’t or is. It is the theory that a 06 bullet vaporized in a human neck that is ludicrous. Anyone who hunts knows this.
A projectile at that angle would likely have went in the ground.
There was no armor worn by Kirk.
For the love of all that is holy, there wasn’t any armorcan’t believe anyone has to keep saying this.
Now, to me the more pressing questions surround was this kid a lone perpetrator or did he like many others succumb to Manchurian Candidate manipulation

fair point. but thinking out of the box,esp in such a high level case,should be automatic. if some YT poster comes up with an idea that is even likely credible,then it should be seriously looked at. supposedly the smarts and tech is available to do so. when serious thought is not given to even wild off center ideas and is denied or blown off as "radical conspiracy thinking" then i see a problem. if we are told ignore that,move along,trust the science/authorities then the truth of the idea gains huge ground. does the JFK drama ring a bell?
I think what looks like energy from the shot moving him is actually similar to when a deer hunches up or a coyote bends when the nervous system freezes at impact.

To add to the pass through and ground strike part. There wasn't a wall behind Kirk, it was an open walkway with concrete surface. Directly behind it was another concrete area then two man made "lakes" each larger than the amphitheater area. Beyond that a baseball park, freeway and some open land. When Zinn was arrested they frog marched him right through it and you could see the fountain in the first lake.
With no sound and only video, I could agree easily. But, after listening repeatedly, the sound was definitely a sonic crack, and I think anyone with a handgun would have been instantly identified already by the time the video was released, so I ruled it out (in my mind, anyway).

Do a fair amount of target shooting with repurposed targets such as small HPA tanks, fire extinguishers, propane tanks etc.
I’ve yet to witness a round not pass thru any of these objects at distances from 100 and beyond with various calibers, and the object impacted at times doesn’t move at all, even with an edge hit.

Going with the narrative, my thoughts:
.30-06 from 140 yards and 40' up would have blown clean thru at not much of an angle, with FMJ leaving a .30 exit hole. Any kind of hunting round would leave a much bigger hole, of course. OK, so say it hit a vertebrae and deflected downwards. I'd think his head would have nearly come off, and probably left a fist size hole in his back. Body armor? In the video of him walking thru the crowd, he clearly wasn't. In the pics of him sitting and leaning forward, it looks like he may have been wearing plates of some kind. Now if the bullet hit the edge of a plate and deflected upwards into his neck, at that angle I'd think a large part of the back of his head would be gone.
Now, not going with the narrative: Clearly a smaller round was used with a BT or fragmenting round to not have an exit hole. Aside from the waterfall of blood, the spinal cord was likely destroyed and Charlie never knew what had happened.
I'm not an M.E., don't play one on V, and haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express for several years.

They did an autopsy on JFK, the bullet that struck his head came from the rear. The professionally draw pictures, actual photos and xrays of the wounds that are public. These took years to surface.

I don't know the exact angle of approach for the bullet, haven't looked for it.
Everybody wants to say the bullet hit the phantom plate on his chest so I assume someone has verified the bullet came from a direct frontal direction and not from an angle that would intersect the spine. If so it just makes it all the more curiouser.

I had to take my mother for a medical procedure three days ago. While I was in the waiting room, by coincidence Myth Busters was on the TV and they were testing this exact theory. They shot their simulator dummy with everything up to a .50BMG with no significant movement. It got a lot more involved than that, with them trying to "stack the deck" with metal plates to insure 100% energy transfer, but still no significant movement. In the most extreme situations, just a "little".
I think it was as simple as... "I'll use gramps old deer rifle. He gave it to me 10 years ago, and he had it for 50+ years. So not traceable, in my mind, anyways!"

I told you in the post above, that that is in the Quran and Suni, in their end times prophesy, which references the book of revalation chapter 6 as the Mahdi comes riding in on a white horse. In the Quran it speaks of their “Mahdi” their savior, taking that position.
Daniel 9, 11 and 12 is where the prophesy regarding abomination that brings desolations putting himself in the Holy place position and bringing a 7 year peace with Israel and then breaking it.
Pretty interesting how Islams end times prophesy and Christians end time prophesy mirror each other exactly except their 180° out.
