Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Okay good to know. Dealer seems to be on top of things so I assume it went out right away. Sitting at 158 days since purchasing so I feel like I should be close.

Finally decided to make first call to check status, received date was 9/19 and currently pending.

From what I can tell the Individuals are nowhere near 9 months.

I agree individual seems to be running closer to 6-7 months based on recent feedback.

However, I don't think "individual trust" was a typo. I think he is referring to a trust with one person on it... in that case 9-12 months seems about right

Submitted Form 4 individual paper, 4-24-17, moved after that date, causing an ATF paperwork hiccup in December, got stamp last week, 290 days.
Thunderbeast Ultra 7 6.5. It'll go nicely with the other TBac cans.

I have two in since April/May and you guys are killing me. Where's my cans? Fuck! At this rate, I'll get the one I submitted last month before these arrive. Frustrating.

Yep. Watching this thread is driving me nuts.

Form 4 trust. (NFA lawyers trust with amendment removing trustees leaving myself as originator. Noted this just in case that causes delays.)
Mailed 03/29/2017
Check cased 04/13/2017
Approval: TBD
Received: TBD

Seeing these form 4 trusts clearing from May 2017 is disheartening (good for them though). Going to give ATF a call once I hit 365 days. will update dates once I get some more info.

My dealer called about a month ago to check on them. Both have been sent to Virginia indicating both checks have cashed in Oklahoma City. I'll also have him check when we get to the 1 year mark.

TBAC Ultra 7 CB30
Silencer Shop Kiosk.
Form 4 Trust / Purchase 5-31-17
Check Cashed / Pending 6-18-17
NFA Approved 2-17-18 (244 days from Check Cashed).
Pick up from dealer (13 days and counting) TBD.

My newest MG was just approved, it took 11 months & 2 days however the paperwork had an error that had to be investigated which delayed things, I'll be leaving in a few hours to go pick it up, YIPPEE!

The error had nothing to do with the new application, it was for a Type-99 LMG but the original 1968 amnesty paperwork stated that it was a "Sten Type" which really caused a stir at the NFA so they needed full photos showing the gun next to a tape measure verifying it's total length etc.

It absolutely sucks. Especially when I'm seeing posts about getting approval on submissions that took place 4 and 5 months after me. Good for those guys though.
I am in the same boat - check cashed tax day last year, still no call ... but form 4 trust i filed 3 months prior were approved 5 months ago .. thought it was meant to go faster not slower

I'm still waiting on a TBAC Ultra 7 that cashed 1-1-17. Last time i called, it was still at the FBI awaiting background check. I'm guessing it got lost. I asked if they could call FBI to make sure they have it. The guy gave me phone number to NICS. I called it and and rang 25 times. No answering machine.

Invoice, date I paid my SOT for a TBAC 22TD, was 07/29/17. It took us a couple more days to get my amended trust & etc together, so fair to say I didn't finally get the paperwork sent to ATF before 08/03/17. Got a phone call yesterday morning - 03/12/18 - saying the stamp had just been delivered. 7-1/2 months - far better than I'd hoped for.

Well, just got a request for correction. I submitted Form 4 trust 3/27/2017 with ammendment from NFA lawyers to remove responsible persons from my trust to cut down on the amount of passport photos/fingerprints I had to submit.

ATF says its a no go with that ammendment and I will need to submit corrections with fingerprints/photos for all RP's or an updated ammendment. I got ahold of NFALaywers and they are aware of this issue and already have a new updated ammendment that is acceptable to the ATF for removing RP's. I had a response from NFAlawyers within 10 mins of my query with the new corrected ammendment. So I will submit the corrected ammendment and see how much longer I get to wait.

*edit. Spoke on the phone with the ATF examiner. She was very nice, professional, and quite helpful. I was quite surprised at how nice she was. Made this unfortunate event not seem so daunting. It appears all I have to do is submit the corrected ammendment removing RP's from my trust. and then wait.

I literally just got the call today for a form 4 I submitted in July with the responsible person amendment from NFALawyers, they approved mine and the stamp is in.

Congrats on finally getting the call. I guess this issue just popped up within the last month regarding the amendment to remove responsible persons from the NFA Lawyers trust. ATF lawyers didn't like the last sentence in the amendment so NFA Lawyers revised their amendment, ran it past the ATF and it is good to go now. Quoted the email NFA Lawyers sent me explaining what happened.

"After previously approving these amendments for the last year, some of the ATF attorneys took issue with a single sentence in the amendment about a month ago.

This is not uncommon, as the ATF makes changes in their policy frequently and without notice (like with their opinions on the sig brace, the angled foregrip, etc). We consulted with the ATF chief examiner and he advised us to revise the amendment and resubmit, and assured us there should not be any further problems.

I have attached the revised amendment here. Fill this out, sign and date it with today’s date (no need to back-date), and send it to the ATF examiner for your application (you can get their fax or email address from the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500 when you give them the control number on your denial letter).
Once the examiner receives it, they will continue processing and you should have your tax stamp in a few weeks. This will not reset your processing time, they will continue it from exactly where it was in the line. We have had several clients already go through this process, and they received their stamps quickly."
