Someone finally speaks the bottom line to Alec Baldwin

"Baldwin also said he has no idea how a live bullet got in the Colt .45 revolver he used in the scene."

how he is not in jail is beyond me. police need to arrest him now

Hypothetically there could be a case where he didn’t pull the trigger and the gun went off . . . because he was already holding the trigger down during his draw and when he let the hammer go it dropped instead of staying cocked.

Still his fault for pointing a gun at someone and not knowing how they work as ignorance is no excuse.

He would still have to cock the revolver in order for it to fire. We're talking a cowboy type movie, so it was probably a Colt Single Action revolver. Kinda impossible for the type of revolver to fire without the operator of that firearm to have cocked it to make it capable of being fired. If the scene didn't call for the gun to be out of the holster, there's absolutely no reason for Baldwin to have cocked the revolver. Everyone on the set should have been screaming to holster the weapon. Either that didn't happen or he's more of a moron and didn't listen.

So this slimeball is going to claim an assistant cocked the gun and handed it to him?

Lets imprison the assistant, bastard, for ten years for negligent homicide.

Meanwhile, sorry Mr. Baldwin, for you having to go through this.

That’s pretty much what I said, if he truly didn’t “pull the trigger” then he had to have held the trigger down as he drew and cocked the hammer but didn’t know enough about the firearm to know that there is no trigger reset and holding the trigger means that when you let go of the hammer the gun fires.

First rule still applies. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE GO BUTTON until you want to destroy whatever is in the bullet's trajectory. Follow that ONE rule, regardless of whether or not he cocked the hammer, and this doesn't happen. I'm guessing he pulled, finger on trigger and cocked all in one swoop, as if he were pretending to be a badass actor like Sammy or Jerry.

That said, if he'd have pulled the trigger and cocked as he drew, most likely he'd have shot either his foot or something benign as I don't think anything other than intentionally pointing gun at victim would have led to this regardless of safety violations. Which leads to another one of those rules...DON'T POINT WEAPON AT SOMETHING YOU DON'T WANT TO DESTROY.

Sorry, capital letters in case Alex Bullshit Baldwin is reading.

He still pulled the trigger.

How does a SAA 45 fire on its own? Maybe it was one of those magical Hollywood guns that never need reloading?
Bottom line, I can't believe the puke isn't being charged with at least involuntary manslaughter.

Like I've said before. He's going to be the "Pod Beeotch" in a prison in the middle of a desert in So. Calif., or he's going to be sleep'n in a cardboard box on the side of a L.A. freeway.
F(I dinnit do nuff'n)AB! Mac:mad:

Good to see that someone realizes Mr. Baldwin is the true victim here. Anyone critical of him should have to shoot a scene with him.

...Calling him a piece of garbage is an insult to garbage.

What a complete piece of shit. He is more worried about his reputation and public opinion than the fact he killed 2 people. Why else would he do an interview? The thing is most who know nothing about guns will believe he didn't pull the trigger. How does a revolver just go off?
I did hear on the news though it was a 44mm handgun WHOAAA.

well his interview provided public acknowledgement that he was holding the gun and it can be proved that it didn't discharge on it's own. I think the interview was a bad move allowed by his lawyers.

my big question is why hasn't he been brought up on charges yet??????????????????????

sadly any hard facts that someone could or would hit him with would only roll off his block head like water on a duck . I just hope the fine he gets in court is enough to make him pucker up so tight he craps diamonds for a few years . A little prison stent would be wonderful to pay his cell mate a few cartons of smokes to treat him real special like lol ....late night hugging / petting sessions , but he wont serve a day in a jail cell none of those famous rich turds ever do it's special spas for them private room they are just not allowed to leave unless it is to party I mean work .

Because the Left is able to take a stolen presidential election caught on video with fake ballots and numbers to prove it and turn it into a 'conspiracy theory.'

There is only one way to eradicate this nonsense.

It was staged. His lawyer set it up with George Stephanopoulos to tell "the story". It was all scripted to put him in a victim role.

All they have to do is inspect the internals to tell if it was a mechanical failure. IIRC he states his finger was not on the trigger.

Yep. 5 to 15 minutes to mechanically test it, another 5 to 15 to disassemble it and put the components on a competitor. Either they're gonna be within spec. or they're not... Competitor may not be necessary if the defects are obvious.

Any situation where Alec Baldwin does not take full blame for his actions is complete horseshit, he’s is a coward.

He was in control of the firearm. He picked up the firearm without properly ensuring it was safe/unloaded pointed it around the room of people.

Blame lay at his feet, He needs to man up and except it

Anyone surprised that a lefty would say "It's not my fault. It's not my responsibility" is absurd.
It's the basis of their entire ideology.

The irony of spending years demonizing the NRA, while taking just one of their classes would mean a young lady would still be alive has to burn.
You serious? As with a conscious?

These people are defective sub-humans void of morals, honor or conscious.

Since HollyWeird has turned the western into a lost art.....

Here's an article about tuning the gun used, Pietta 1873 Single Action Revolver:

Slicking Up a Pietta 1873 Single Action Revolver

Once the depth of the sear was set I polished the face of the sear. I discovered that the Pietta hammer had a shelf that the trigger rode on. When I reduced the depth of the sear I removed that shelf.

It true he didn't pull the trigger as he stated he dropped the hammer to fire the gun.
