Came across this guy the other day at a red light. Truck named the Dodge Lodge that has a 4 barrel shotgun as a hood ornament and double barrel shotguns for fender ornaments along with an acme bomb on the roof. Got a good laugh out of it.
I gotta throw a plug to my neighbors new release. Song’s about a murder that happened to one of our neighbors daughter and the kid who murdered her was friends with everyone in the neighborhood. Pretty messed up situation, and one that weighed in him as his daughter was friends with the girl...
Yeah I was bummed when my buddy didn’t tell me he was about to let it go, and I would have paid him more for it. Said he couldn’t sell it to me because he didn’t want to see me shooting it, knowing he let a good gun go.
I second rocketmanb suggested process. Should find the sweet spot doing that. Ps. Can your wife talk to my wife and teach her how to come home with powder and bullets after going out!!!
That’s true. Had a buddy who wanted a specific AR10 set up forever. Finally got around to getting it. Got it set up. Spent maybe 2 days at the range getting it dialed in. Had a medical crisis come up and it sat in the safe for the next two years. Next thing I hear from him is he sold it for...
I recently wanted to accomplish something similar to what you’re wanting to do. Couldn’t get myself to go the route of the few that I came across that were at about that 1k mark. The ones I saw at that range were PSA, M&P, Savage MSR, and Springfields Saint. Ended up going with an Aero in 6.5 w...
You’re absolutely right. My oldest is a solid shot. Both my boys are around it all the time. They both even like making loads with me. I’m just looking forward to the day where I can have all 3 out with me.
Seeing you and your boy out shooting competitions makes me envious until the day I can do the same. My oldest is 7, youngest 3, and another on the way. I look forward to the day I can take all three of my boys to the range or to a local comp. That’s got to be some awesome father son bonding time!
Now that you bring it up I do think it was your earlier post that I saw of the pro compared to the 3 that had me thinking that. I’ll have to get my hands on either the 3i or pro to see about making the switch once they become readily available.
I actually liked the xtrii caps better than the butler creek caps that came with my xtriii for two reasons. The xtrii caps pushed all the way back and stayed back and maybe it was just the ones I received, but the caps that came with my xtriii won’t stay on. The front cap won’t close properly...
Sorry to hear that she has to deal with that. I’m in Florida so I’m thankful that I don’t have half of the crazy education situations that so many deal with in other places. It’s absolutely ridiculous how evaluations work in education. I know it’s different in each area, but for the most part...
Good for her!! I teach in an area that is relatively conservative so I don’t work with as many far left teachers. However, there’s a few of course, mostly English or History teachers. My students know that I shoot. Day one I do a get to know me PowerPoint and show them pictures or videos of me...
Both are good choices and do the job you’re setting out to accomplish, but I’d go with the Kahles if it was me. Make sure whichever one you go with that you like the reticle and can see yourself making calls and or holdovers using it.
