Just picked up a Athlon Ares from AOG, great guy to deal with. We live in the same area and he went more then halfway to meet me to deliver the scope, rings and shade. If anyone is interested in Athlon scopes hit him up and deal with confidence.
I have the 7 and if I could do it again I would go 9. I am eventually going to pickup an Ultra 9 and use it for my bolt guns and just the leave the 7" on my 300blk sbr as a dedicated suppressor there.
Re: High end scopes in Phoenix, Tucson? Outdoorsman's in Phoenix (nightforce, swaro, vortex)...these guys are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and can take care of you, Sportsman's Warehouse has Nightforce also.
Re: Under Armour hunting clothes Look into Kryptek...its a new hunting line and its great stuff. If you are tall than you will be out of luck though because they haven't started making tall sizes. I am 6'0" and it fits me just right. Don't have any experience with the under armor outerwear...
Re: Custom Rifle Builders thanks to everyone for the options, I will start mulling them over and see what to go with. I appreciate the help and advice. Take Care.
Re: Custom Rifle Builders ha ha thanks, GAP does not need an introduction. I should have mentioned that. I know of GAP, Christenarms, Best of the West but was wondering if there are any others out there I should look into.

Bought a TD Arc Mag for my Rock River Arms Carbine ultralite the other day and took it out for a test run. Within the first 30 rounds I had three FTFs and I have literally had 1 ftf or fte with this gun since I have owned it using CMI mags and I am pretty sure that was from a rotten reload I...
Re: Sig 1911 C3 Mags sounds good, I was going to go with Wilsons' or try some Checkmate Industry mags since they are all I use with my LRB M25 and Rock River AR15 but wasn't sure what to go with
Just picked up my first 1911 and I am looking to get some extra mags for it. What do you recommend for the Sig C3 (compact)? Looking for 7 or 8 rounders. I used the search to see what would come up but nothing did for me, I might have been to specific I guess but some help would be greatly...
I finally have my LRB M25 M1A completed, it is supported by a JAE G2 stock, it is going to be used for tactical precision and long range shooting with an occasional hunt mixed in probably but it is nonetheless my first dedicated distance shooter...I was going to get a Leupy Mark 4 ER/T scope...
Re: SHIN SPLINTS. . . My highschool track coaches always said "chin splints don't exist" we don't want to hear you gripe about them that being said after you get them you need to let them rest because its your muscles being pulled away from the bone...running on hard surfaces without the...
Re: Arizona 6A advice? Depends on the hunt, lots of folks call 6a the meat locker because there are a lot of elk there. But those hunts have a lot of hunters. I recommend scouting and finding a few bulls you would take and than getting there early to secure a nice camp site to work from. The...
